Creating VDisks is very slow on a 5400RPM hard drive, incase you were wondering. Im making 4 500GB Vdisks so I can have 1TB of storage with double redundancy for my FreeNAS VM.

Is this incredibly redundant given that it's all on one drive? Yes. Will it help me sleep at night given that FreeNAS recommends doing it this way, and that this VM will be hosting recordings for 2 different remote video editing jobs? Also yes.

My 8TB drive is already half full, and I don't even have all my backups on it monkaS
