Hey man, thanks for the help but I found out the issue. I thought it was the power supply. But then after tearing apart the PC and playing while its guts were hanging out I noticed that it was actually the GPU. One of the three fans was being snagged by a 6+2 connector making the other fans go sicko mode. Pulled it out, played csgo for like 5 minutes and no issues. Once again I appreciate the helping hand.

I just needed to go into my settings on windows and type in the key. Then they water mark dissapeared. Not much to it tbh. I was in the same boat as you. I thought It was going to be a whole ordeal

When I installed my ASUS Prime z370-a and new CPU I had to reactivate my windows. I went to go find my super old windows 8.1 (even though i had windows 10 at the time) disk and found an activation code in the back of the package, typed it in and then the activate windows watermark went away.

Hey I just switched my case from a corsair 500r to a phanteks P400 and I put an AIO in it too. everything went well until i started gaming on it and realized that my case fans went full blast. It was the loudest I had ever heard my PC go. At first i thought it may have been my CPU overheating. When I went to check my CPU temps I saw it was in the 30-34c range. I'm guessing that is not that hot since the average cpu temps for gaming is 75-80c. The same goes for my GPU. That's when I realized that it was my case fans. It only does this when i'm playing a game. I have not tried it with any other games. As of now i've been playing csgo. I tried setting my case fans to silent mode from the BIOs but it still kicked into high gear when gaming. Then I tried to use fan tuning on Fan Xpert 4 but that just made my case fans just outright stop working. Anybody have ant clue as to what to do? These fans sound like my PC is about to have critical failure but all my temps say otherwise. P.S. idk if this is worth pointing out but my last case had the fans connect to its own fan speed controller. This case now has no fan speed controller and is connected directly to motherboard P.P.S. I really appreciate everyone's input and help.

I'm installing a 240mm radiator in the front of my case. Should the fans be in front pushing air through the rad or should they be in back pulling air through. Or does that even matter

I am planning on upgrading my cpu. My current one is an i5-4670k with an hyper EVO 212 for cooling. My question is whether I should get the 8700k or 7700k? Is the latest and greatest worth the extra little money? My plan is souly for gaming on this CPU. The games I like to play are battlefield and arma3 (if that matters). So, is it overkill to get the 8700k? I just want to make sure I have an amazing CPUs that won’t need to be switched out for a while.

So, I’ve been wanting to upgrade my PC for a while (cpu) but In order to do so I need to get a new motherboard (and ram). My concern with this is that I’ve heard switching out a motherboard can cause issues with your windows OS. so I was wondering what would I need to do to make sure that there will not be any software issues when installing my new motherboard? Also do I need to uninstall my motherboard drivers or any other drivers before putting in a new motherboard? Please forgive me if this sounds ridiculous,I am a little bit of a PC noob
