To sum everything up from my last post, I basically found some free ram in my basement DDR3 and asked f I could mix it with my ram in my pc. Turns out I can all I have to do is disable dual channel. What's that mean and how do I do it?

Hello! I was scavenging in my basement just to find my brothers old 8gb of DDR3 1600 memory(KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX) My question is can I mix this with my ram? I use: 12gb DDR3 Dual channel @798MHz Acer Aspire TC-705 (LGA1150) (motherboard) Is it fine if I mix these together? Will I see any performance upgrades (even a little) or will I face the blue screen of death lol.

Hello! I don't know if this is a dumb question or not but I'm looking to upgrade to Bell Fibe 500 which offers 500 of both upload and download. I want to know if my PC can handle that, can all PCs handle that? Or am i asking some imaginary question? How can i find if my PC can handle this, thanks! what does bottleneck mean? like stutter or something, are you reffering that my i7 4790 would not have any issues with a 1080? if thats the case dont i need a good motherboard and ram to run it?

I also thought the new pc build might be better since i have more opportunity to upgrade, I could go from a 1050ti to a 1080 or ram is easily upgradable, since everything is newer.
