  1. I took down the VRAM by -500 and also tried -300 on the core and its the same. Maybe I just didn't see it before and that's how heaven is. The building are sort of shimmering at the beginning, the grey ones, could you check?
  2. I noticed that on Apex, the textures aren't loading properly, they are changing shape and popping in right next to me. I put it down to the game. Repaired, re-installed, the same. So I went to heaven and noticed that textures are sort of shimmering, not all of them and its not only shadows. I DDU'D to other Nvidia drivers and cleaned everything running that could be interfering. I also did a VRAM test on OCCT that had no errors Palit 3070 5600x Anyone?
  3. My score for a stock 5600x was 11,000ish. I have been having problems with two UPS I bought making sounds etc. Now my 5600x scores 10,021 Not sure what could cause it, nothing is eating up CPU, everything is disabled when running the test. Thoughts?
  4. I'm asking if a Faulty gpu could affect the colour performance (not artificating, but more reprodcution) Sorry, wasn't clear in my post
  5. Wondering as recently I had bashed the DP cable of my 3070. Could this affect the output signal of anything being displayed on screen. Or to phrase "Can a signal on your monitor be affected by the GPU or is it linear (or obvious as in artifacting)."
  6. I have been having issues with my UPS making loud clicking noises when the GPU is on heavy load. It comes with an IEC male to female instead of the plug that is usually on the end of my PC? Would this be ok or could it damage it?
  7. Yes the UPS works, but when its under load it is making a very loud sound, not related to the battery. It is Online/line interactive
  8. It seems to be just a noise, but what could it be. It only happens under RTX load
  9. I don't have a watt meter but I just installed the software that came with my UPS and is is hitting 56% load (as I expected) when doing these sounds. I have NO idea why the UPs is going crazy with normal loads, it cant be faulty as the other one was doing it too. Someone on Guru3d Mentioned that it RTX cards could be incompatible with UPS's?
  10. Is it ok to plug a kettle to kettle lead into the UPS for my PC. Or should I stick with the plug?
  11. Hey yeah my UPS is connected to the wall. Did try another wall socket next to me. Nothing else is plugged in any it still makes the sound. Really weird that it only does it under heavy load
  12. My 1000va stated making weird clicking noises when using ray tracing in cyberpunk. Normal load or benches dont do this. I bought a new UPS 1200va powercool (same brand) and its also making the sound) My system should fine with a 720w UPS? 5600x 3070 16gb 3600mhz 2x 250gb SSD 650w Evga G2
  13. Yes I was asking for help, but you are suggesting 650w isn't enough for my build when it definitely is. A 720w UPs shouldn't be having issues with this build.
  14. Nvidia recommends a 650w PSU for the 3070. There is no way my system is using more than 600w. I have a 65w 5600x and a 370w 3070. Its more like 400w. Most other places including guru3d (known for their power measurement's) recommend a 550w PSU for palit 3070's Yeah I only have my PC plugged in. There is no way its drawing more than 600w let along the 720w that the UPS is rated for.
  15. The UPS originally was 1000va which is 600w (more than enough for my 5600x and 3070), now I am using a 1200va ups (720w). There is no way my PC is using that much, my PSU is only 650w more than enough for my system. This is only happening using raytracing in cyberpunk. Also the UPS is online, so it should only be using wall power pass through? In benchmarks like heaven where the GPU is also maxed it isnt making any sounds. 3070 5600x 16gb 3600Mhz 2x 250gb SSD 650w Evga g2
  16. VERY Odd issue. I noticed loading cyberpunk that my UPS starting making a loud clicking noise. I assumed it was drawing too much power (the ups is rated 600w, on line interactive). But alas it did not change unplugging my monitor. I ordered a NEW UPS that is rated at 700w and it does the same ONLY when using ray tracing. All other benchmarks that utilize the GPU dont make the UPS do that. What the fuck is happening, is the card faulty, or is cyberpunk drawing some weird power?
  17. Any idea why my monito has such lowered brightness the only thing I can think of is that my UPS has been playing up. Maybe I should DDU?
  18. I was wondering if the actual hardware of the GPU could cause lowered brightness or does it just send a signal? Nothing connected to monitor. The brightness seems much less.
  19. I came back to my monitor and it seemed much less bright than it was the other day. The settings are the same. Is it possible for a gpu to cause this issue. Nvidia settings are the same.
  20. Thanks, The USP is line online, so it shouldn't be switching to battery I have a 3070 +5600x, so it should be doing that right. It only does it under load. But should it be drawing 600w? Is that a problem, could it damage any components/
  21. My UPS which has been fine has started to make a really inconsistent clicking/electrical noise. This is only happening when playing Cyberpunk and no other game (yes really) Running a benchmark or whatever doesn't make the sound. I measured my 12,5v and 2v rails and they are all fine. Why is it doing this and is it danger for my PC
  22. Yesterday everything was fine, Now my UPS has started making a sort of clicking electrical noise, which I originally thought was my PC clipping cable. It isn't happening under normal load (desktop) and wasn't doing it under load/. Also when I turned it on and off there was a large thud, maybe the battery doing something?
