EvilKitty got a reaction from asg0451 in Is there a place i can get low load PSU efficiency numbers
just found out i can get 10% efficiency from the 80+ test results, they test 10% loads but as far i can tell from wikipedia 10% does not apply to the sticker requirements
https://www.clearesult.com/80plus/manufacturers/115V-Internal
upon sorting teh data that asus tuf 550w looks amazing
*reads report pdf*
oh that 10% load is a typo in the table...

Cybenetics does 10%-110% efficiency testing at 10% load increments as well as low load (20W-80W) efficiency testing at 20W intervals.

EvilKitty got a reaction from da na in Making custom replacement bracket
What is the spacing on those holes? it looks like it might be 50mm, you can find some 56k modem cards with that spacing (also good for 60mm fans)
do you have the low profile bracket? i could trade you a full height card (SB-0200) if you are in the US, a 1/2 height card would be cheaper and easier for me to adapt to a pcie x1 slot, note that i have not tested it, just had it on the shelf

EvilKitty got a reaction from TVwazhere in Front panel audio; Case header has no pin 4
This is what i ended up doing, using the transistor thing was inconstant when using both mic and headphones
Button LEDs are always on while the system is running

EvilKitty got a reaction from Ben17 in Front panel audio; Case header has no pin 4
My case's audio header has 8 pins populated (it is a old HP case, no older than 2003), pin 4 is not populated, since AC97 has 5 pins occupied and HD audio has 9 pin occupied, i am guessing this header uses proposed standard that was not complete, can this be made or rigged to with with a modern motherboard?
i did manage to fine this image:
should i just jump pin 4 to ground to make it work?

EvilKitty got a reaction from TechyBen in Why Can't They Fix This?
If you using an app that prevents you from using the phone while driving they can prevent idle power saving cause they keep probing the geo-location feature
Different micro sd card, maybe those massively dense ones use more power?
You could list every application you have installed in the original post
