So I just bought a manufacturer refurbished Asus Zenbook flip ux360 with core m3-6y30, 8gb ram. I've set it up, removed most of the asus bloatware and also updated BIOS but it just keeps crashing after a couple of minutes of usage, every single time I end up with the same BSOD of kernel trap failure. I downloaded WhoCrashed to check what might be causing it but most of the descriptions say it was NT Kernel & System and that it was possibly cause by another driver that cannot be identified. Some crashes were supposedly caused by Intel wireless link adapter which i updated and it did not help. I have a feeling that it could be the graphic drivers, but I could not install the newest version of HD515 from intel website as it said it wasn't optimized for the device. Maybe someone who owns this device has experienced any similar problems? Its running windows 10 at the moment but I am planniong try how linux performs on it so maybe there won't be such problems there.

There wasn't blackouts in safe mode but the moment I'm out of it i got them. I was able to get some more time on normal mode without blackout went half through the installation of amd software but it crashed and went to darkness. I contacted amd but I'm don't expect much, guess gonna have to settle for intel hd graphics for a while.

I don't. I had the card for almost 4 years now so I guess it would be kind of late to contact and it might as well be dying. But it worked just fine before today with those rare blackouts.

Similarly to another thread here about amd card. I updated the AMD graphics driver yesterday didn't do much on computer so nothing happened. Today decided to open a game, few minutes into it got black screen with vertical stripes restarted the pc and from then I can't access it normally. After the Windows logo a small line flickers at the bottom and it goes black. It work on safe mode with networking. I uninstalled the driver from device manager, restarted and it was all good for 1-2 minutes then it went to black again. The driver was automatically reinstalled. Now I removed it with DDU, restarted and got the same black screen after a minute, the only difference that it wasn't reinstalled. I downloaded the AMD software to install new drivers but I can't install it on the safe mode and get an error "no device driver detected". Maybe there is a separate driver that I can install without running the software? I'm using HD 7870. Had similar problems with black screens during games, but it would always be fixed by restarting pc. An update: I tried so more things. Removed the gpu completely cleaned everything AMD related with DDU, plugged it back in and now it works with Microsoft basic display adapter. I cannot install the amd drivers as it crashes everytime and the black screen returns needing to repeat the whole process to get basic display adapter installed. Any ideas?

Hello, I'm running windows 8.1 and all the explorer tasks has gotten really slow, Creating a new folder, renaming it, deleting files takes awfully long. When I create a new folder nothing happens so i get to another window of explorer get back to the current and only then it is created. Any ideas what may be the cause of this? Everything else works at normal speed. It seemed to me though that it got even worse after I installed MS Visual Studio. P.S. No, I'm not using Internet explorer.

Haven't tried partitioning it yet. But if im not mistaken it would delete the files on it?

Hello, a friend of mine gave me this Micro SD hoping that I may be able to fix it or at least get the pictures out of it. The speed of the card is amazingly slow, transfering 1 picture to computer takes up to 5 minutes. Tried fixing it from properties/tools/ check disk but it only shows an error saying that windows can't fix this drive, suggesting to try again. Also tried running chkdsk /f on cmd, but it stops at "chkdsk 11 percent completed....". Any suggestions? As simply copying the files to PC would take days...

Yeah and it says that I have the newest version available, although I'm on Kitkat. Edit: actually "Your system is UP TO DATE" Yes many times.

Hello, I have a nexus 5 phone. Ever since the Android 5 came out, this little message kept popping up on the notification bar suggesting me to update to the lollipop, but as I had the phone for less than a month by then I though I would enjoy the Kitkat on it a bit longer before updating. So for about a month I just kept pressing the button "LATER" on the notification when suddenly it stopped showing up. My thought was: OK I will just update from the settings menu when I finally decide to. But apparently I can't. When I try to check for software updates it just says that the newest check was a few minutes ago and that I am running the newest version. So how do I update it without having to connect to the computer now?

Hello, I tend to listen to music a lot while playing and one thing that's been bothering me recently is that when i start a game on steam (in this case NBA 2k15) it significantly silences the music. Any way to work around this?

Hello, I'm using MSI Radeon HD r7870, and after the newest update there are some problems which i do not understand. Firstly, the first two times when updating the drivers my pc crashed and went to BSOD at the very end of installation. The other problem is game related which I'm pretty sure is caused by the drivers: when i play nba 2k15 I get random blackouts on about 10 minute intervals when it happens i have to press alt+tab and after some time i get back into the game, otherwise the monitor shows a message "no signal". Today after installing the new driver update the pc didn't crash but it said that the installation finished with problems and here is the troubleshoot file that was created. So really, why is windows media player so bad? I have a collection of more than 100 hours of music and i like to just play them all on shuffle but media player just cycles on about 20-30 songs and keeps playing them over and over. Of course everytime it's different 30 songs but it's still annoying. It's also this thing that it sees the music files that aren't really music ( for example sounds from unity projects) and doesn't find the music stored in download folder. When it keeps adding random album covers to tracks it also is very annoying. I'm using the newest Media Player on W8. Since i think that there's no way to make it not suck so much i need a new music player. Any suggestions? (i tried tomahawk it was pretty bad and i don't like winamp for no particular reason)
