  1. I want to upgrade my Nintendo Switch memory for games with big files ( Fortnite, Overwatch 2, Apex ). It takess storage around 60GB ish with update so I decided getting 128GB
    1. Good Brand

    2. Prefer High speed rate to transfer File from Device back and forth.

    3. Can Switch Utilize MicroSD speed? or there is limitation on how fast the transfer speed set?

  2. It's possible but there will be INTEL driver when you swap the cpu. I never found this scenario, most of people would do fresh install.

Either you delete the drive manually / re-install windows from scratch / back up your game to external storage.

  3. @8tg
    1. The gpu lil bit outdates but i think that's the sweetspot. im trying too look for 1070 perhaps. or do you have recommendation with AMD GPU? not familiar with them.
    2. Oh yeah the ram speed.. thank you for reminding.
    3. 5800x and 300W gpu seems great for upgrade later on.
    4. I would look for VRM heatsink

Ah I did not speak "bahasa" on daily basis tho so I can only comprehend few :3
    1. I do not need 5600 for I only do minimum gaming.
    2. Quad ram in dual-channel will put extra load on memory controller.
    3. Never heard of that PSU. Be Quiet is extraordinary good for budget even high-end
    4. i think 550M better than 450M. better for longevity

  4. Budget (including currency): 400 - 440USD (6.3 Million IDR - 6.9 Million IDR )

    Country: Indonesia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Esport Title ( Fornite, Valorant ) some other game ( the forest, subnautica)

Other details: 1080p 60Fps. Got everything except the PC hahaha

    Spec from "WEB FOR SHOP"

    Ryzen 5400

    MSI B550m-A PRO
    AVEXIR DDR4 PC2400 16GB

    Gigabyte 2500E 500GB SSD PCLE

    VENORMRX GTX 1060 6GB

Be Quiet System power 9 500W Bronze

    VENOM RXnemesis Case

    Question:

    1. How is this build? I could replace for better parts if its on the same price one web. 430USD its sweet spot for me.
    2. How far I can upgrade in future without replacing motherboard and PSU ? ( Ryzen 7? GTX 1660? )

I got the iPhone XR. Been an excellent device. Ive had it maybe 5 years. It kinda started slowing down on me now and the battery life is a little less. But its still usable. Probably going to get the 16 base or maybe the Plus model, if my phone holds out till then.

i think most of electronic give it 5 years or so

  6. So I was trying to organize my contact by making "group or list" then I realized that my contact stored in different email. iCloud, gmail and all gmail. I try to sync but it does nothing and when I am trying to delete a synced email it warned me that the contact also deleted.

Is there anyway to merge everything into iCloud?

  7. hmm i personally would not go for F chip. i just do not get the idea of losing integrated Intel graphic and use GPU alll the time. and some people here do recommend the non f chip to me back then.

surely one SSD is enough. would prefer to add seperate drives between system and application. probably another SSD or 4TB HDD for the files. WD BLUE perhaps.

SSD with an adapter is very much faster.

About MicroSD I really don't know about their reliability.

i see that could works to save money while using SSD. any adapter advice?

Depends on the timescale: days/months? SSD would be fine. Years? HDD. SSDs slowly leak the charge in their memory cells, causing corruption.

If you have the SSD powered for a reasonable amount of time in order to refresh all the cells, it may be viable, but I don't know how much time per month/year that would be to be perfectly effective.

ah for years is better HDD? i never use ssd as long unit. but my old HDD last more than decades honestly. i will consider longetivity of HDD into account.

by "powered" i guess it referred to be connected once a while to refresh. it makes sense, but still making me anxious of losing data over years lol.

No, for reasons above, compounded with the fact they tend to be cheaper (i.e. worse quality) flash memory to start with.

ah cheaper > worse quality > faster degrad or corrupt. i will took backup of my small file's to better unit. i use the flashdisk for moving only then.

  9. it happened that i need around 100 ish GB worth of storage as backup for my files. 2/3 of the file consist of photo and videos. thus i thought it would be better to use SSD for faster transfer data than HDD (note that i am not going to copy paste or move the data frequently. mostly save and stored for long period ). The external SSD is more expensive than hdd, i thought a way to get better speed at lower price. then it come to my mind that internal SSD is cheaper for equal spaces. i dunno if someone use this but as i recall you can use adapter to connect SATA SSD via USB port to computer.

    Question:

    1.  For long period of time and value as well would it be better HDD or internal SSD with adapter?
    2. also i store few GB data on flashdiks and microSD. is it reliable for small long term storage? *only few gb, seperate from the large ones.

Get an A1070 (wall jack to FireWire power brick), and a FireWire to 30-pin cable. That usually fixes completely flat battery issues.

Leave it charging for a day undisturbed.

i try thank you. si it's the battery fault right? the system only boots when there's enough charge yet flat battery does not pass the minimum power for booting?

  11. I have an old iPad 3 from 2012 that i want to turn on and backup the data. i am aware of the condition of my ipad with zero battery charge so i had to charge it for least an hour.
     here's what happened:

    Phase 1
    1. Black screen
    2. Stuck in Booot (apple logo)

then i disconnect the ipad from wall charger and plug the usb to my macbook air. for some reason it does boot normally

    like this:

    Phase 2

    1. blackscreen
    2. Red battery symbol
    3. Apple logo
    4. Lock screen with Glitches showing the (2)nd images.
    5. everything si fine and battery shows up 3 percent charging.

then it went blank again. and i stuck with blackscreen > red battery logo> apple boot >black screen and so on.

any tips or if smoeone had similar problem...

  12. My friend need a brand new laptop that can support her during working times. a windows laptop and Not used. detail below

    Requirement

    • Budget : 660USD / 10 million IDR maximum
    • Usage: work like excel and Video interview ( webcam )
    • Size: 14 inch , good brightness 300 nits if can.
    • Good build (not fragile especially the hinge) and good battery.

i suggesting her HP/ASUS/Lenovo but there are so many option. regarding about the Video Conference use, i do not think that between price range i made above has laptop with good camera quality. a laptop with external logitech camera connected via USB are optional. the budget does not need to be at maximum as well.
