Does anyone have any recommendation for gaming laptops in 2019. Or weather we should wait for newer releases. I will use windows if I have to but I prefer to run Linux. Looking for at all ranges right now, have not settled on specs but I would like to run high to ultra on 1080p for most games. Having a 1440p monitor would be great if possible.

In the "Caffeine-Fueled Midnight PC Building Stream" last night they mentioned that they have the dates and it is going to be in Vancouver, but have not officially announced. I think it is around July 27. The reason I say that is that Linus has tickets to the Backstreet Boys in Vancouver and will be attending the concert during LTX and the concert date is July 27.

Hi everyone, I am looking form some advice. I am planning to build a new gaming and workstation system, and I have been following Linus and Bitwit and others. I have a few components that I would like in the system but, I would like some recommendations for brands and models. Components I have selected: Processor - Ryzen 7 2700x Video card - GTX 1080 Ti Ram I want 64 GB for boot - Samsung 970 PRO Series - 1TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Case - I am waiting for the new Phanteks Evolv X Other things I want, is RGB, and AIO for cooling. So I am looking for recommendations on Mother board Ram AIO Which version and model of GTX card additional fans additional 2tb ssd Power supply anything else you can think of. Also thinking of waiting for the ASUS ROG Swift PG35VQ I believe this is the new monitor with 144 Hz 4k. Not too concerned with Price more interested in performance. I think the top end without monitor is about $3000 I am planing to build this some time in August or early September. Building this in the US so price in US Dollars.
