  1. I bought the Cable Matters DP - USB C, shortest cable and I can confirm that it works fine with my Razer Blade 15 Adv and Odyssey G9 at 5120x1440 @ 240hz!! https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-USB-C-Supporting/dp/B01J6DT070/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=thunderbolt+3+to+displayport&qid=1614776105&sr=8-3 Wohoo. Thanks for the reply guys! Case finally solved.
  2. I've seen some docking stations that say they support 1440p at 144hz, I might give them a go. I've also seen straight USB C to DP like this: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-USB-C-Supporting/dp/B01J6DT070/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=thunderbolt+3+to+displayport&qid=1614776105&sr=8-3 They say it supports 8k at 60hz refresh rate. If that is the case, 5120x1440 at 240/144hz should not be a problem? Considering 5120x1440 is 7,37 mill pixels, and 8k is 12 mill pixels. Question is, am I better off buying a proper expensive TB3 docking with displayport, or do these cheap cables actually work? Didnt really think that TB3 would cause so much trouble for me, im a bit surprised. Razer really fucked up by removing the mini-DP port. It !"#!%¤!s
  3. I just bought a Razer Blade Advanced 2020 which has no mini displayport and I want to connect it to my Odyssey G9 ultrawide monitor. I bought a cheap USB-C to Displayport and it didnt go that well. The monitor started to go crazy. Are there any good TB3 docking stations that will support 5120x1440 at (preferably) 240hz?
  4. I guess any arm that can handle this weight. It comes with a VESA like adapter.
  5. I cannot enable low input lag when in picture by picture. Thats actually quite sad.
  6. Hey So I just bought the Odyssey G9 49" monitor, and it works awesome as long as i dont use picture by picture mode. When I enable pictore by picture, the mouse has a SLIGHT latency thats very noticable when gaming or in desktop, and thats quite a dealbreaker for me. Is there something I can do to fix this?
  7. Thanks alot for the input guys! Looking into the AMD laptops now. Greatly appreciated! https://www.komplett.no/product/1155433/gaming/gaming-pc/baerbar/asus-rog-zephyrus-g15-ga502iv-156-fhd-240-hz This laptop will basically perform the same as my blade laptop? costs like 30% less. It has 4800hs and 2060
  8. Ah ok. What I do like about the Blade models is that they're not screaming gaming pc as for the looks. At the same time I'm sad about how much my old stationary pc is outperforming the laptops, even in this price range. Its equipped with 8086k(5.1 all cores OC) and a 2080.
  9. Ok thanks. My blade CPU temp hovers around 85-95 degrees while playing Dead By Daylight. Isnt it quite concerning? GPU max temp was 80, guess thats fine.
  10. I bought myself the razer blade advanced equipped with 10875H and 2070 max Q, because I need a more mobile workstation/gamingstation I must say that I am disappointed in the heat it generates, even when in desktop not running anything special. The speakers are horrible, my phone speakers have much better low and mids than these terrible speakers. Since I live in Norway, I can return in and get the money back easily, I'm planning to buy a different high end laptop. Question is: Are there better laptops out there? I've been reading so many reviews and comparisons, and it seems like the razer blade is like one of the best, if not the best one. It might just be that gaming laptops arent my thing afterall, if this is what I am to expect from these. Thanks in advance guys!
  11. Thanks for the tips guys. Appreciated! I've been thinking about going for the h200 also. I might go for that 1 instead.
  12. Hi. I currently own a MSI 2080 Sea Hawk X, which has a AIO cooler attached to it. I want to rebuild my PC into a NZXT H1 case(mini itx), which doesnt fit a GPU with AIO cooler, so I need to swap it. My brother owns a 1080 Ti ROG STRIX OC which I bought to him as a present a while back, and I'm wondering if I really will feel any performance loss if I do the swap with him? I've watched some benchmarks etc, but they're quite old so I dont know if a 2080(not super) outperforms a 1080 Ti nowadays. What do u guys think? I'm playing on a 1440p monitor, and it might look like 2080 kinda outperforms 1080 ti in some games @ 1440p. Thanks in advance peeps!
  13. I would stay away from the Arctis series. I have Arctis 7 and I'm not that happy with it, esp the mic. I just bought a used G933, looking forward to test it, as I've used g930 before for a long time and I was happy with it. I would also recommend watching youtube headset microphone comparisons. There are tons of them on youtube.
