Hi,
I soon want to upgrade my gaming rig to this configuration:
Ryzen 5 2600 (i want to overclock it)
Asrock B450M Pro-4
16GB DDR4 3200 Mhz
GTX 1060 6G
240GB SSD + 500GB HDD
Will my CX430 power supply hold up? or should i get a new power supply?
Thanks.

Thanks Both of you!

Hi,
This is my build right now:
i5 3350p
GTX 1060 6GB
Corsair cx430
8 GB DDR3 1600 mhz
Asus p8h61 mobo
500 GB HDD
240 GB SSD
With this build i get a lot of stutters in some games because of the CPU bottleneck.
I want to upgrade this build, and i was thinking of a Ryzen 5 2600 and 16GB of DDR4 and a new motherboard ofcourse.
Is this smart? or do you guys have any other recommendations for the same price?
Thanks alot.

And when that happens, your CPU runs at?
If it's the non-K version, I'd get the 3770 (or I'd think about flashing the BIOS so you can OC it a bit and get the 2600 if it's cheaper)
Cpu runs at 90-100 %

My mobo is a ASUS P8H61
It's not compatible with overclocking i think... but can i run a -K cpu on a non overclockable mobo?

Hi,
I have a bottleneck problem with my i5-3350p and GTX 1060 6Gb.
I want to upgrade because in some games my GPU only runs at 40%
I was thinking about an i7-2600 or i7-3770, both are great cpu's, but is there alot of difference(fps wise) between those 2?

You will still need key... That part of it doesn't change. You are just spending bit extra for SSD. You can format HDD and install any OS you like. Linux, Windows etc.
The key is only 15 euro's so that's not really the problem
Thanks!

Can i also Just buy a new SSD, remove the hard drive with win XP andere Just install win 10 on the SSD?
46 minutes ago, LoGiCalDrm said:You always can go to newest version directly. But you will need new key regardless. Only Win7/8/8.1 have keys than can be used on newer version (Win10). Rest the upgrade means you could get new version bit cheaper and install it on top of current OS. This route isn't possible as Win Vista is completely discontinued and Win7 official sales ended few years ago. Meaning that your only option to get working Win Vista (not recommended) or Win7 is to buy OEM disc with key from grey-ish markets. Which comes with install DVD and key (or you could ask just for key as you can do install DVD/USB yourself).
The OS will have 30-day trial after which it will lock up worse than what current trials on Windows do.
What if i just buy a new SSD, remove the old hard drive with Windows XP, and put win 10 on the new SSD. That's also possible right? And it will make the pc much faster

On all the youtube vids i see about upgrading to windows 7 i see that you first have to get win vista
But now you can just download it straight to win 7?
-
Ok thanks!!
-
Is that also possible without CD? (like a non-activated windows 7)
Because i dont actually want to spend money on it
and its not possible to go from xp to win 7 at once right?
-
Im currently dusting out an old win XP workstation...
But i want to upgrade it to windows vista and then to windows 7
Is there a way to upgrade to windows vista without an install disk? (because i dont have a disk and its hard to get in my area.)

Ok thanks!
Ill have to work alot for that upgrade
But thanks for the info

I have a i5 3350p and a GTX 1060 6GB and 8 gigs of ram.
On the program Speccy it says for my GPU: 2047 MB NVIDiA GTX 1060 6GB
Is this 2047 MB normal? because in the crew 2 i have been getting fps drops to the 40's on high
Can someone help?

Seems like a good build for 1080p gaming!
-
Maybe the LP version would fit. But you already bought another card so.. Maybe you can return this card?
-
Do you really need 32 Gigs of RAM? Little overkill maybe.
-
G4560 + MSI 1110M ECO is a solid choice
-
Build it yourself, it's not that hard and way more cheaper. ( Just my opinion )
-
Ok, thanks a lot!

Just wondering,
I have a Asus P8H61 Motherboard, and i am planning on buying a MSI GTX 1060 3GB Gaming version.
Will this fit on my motherboard? And will there be enough space left for a networkcard?
CX430 enough?
