so my PC is just over 5 years old now and it's safe to say it's starting to run into some issues.
I'm not going to go into all of them now but just trust me <3.
So before I go into the list I just want to mention that I am keeping my GPU and current storage (SSD & 2 HDD) and am also going to get a new HDD.
I also wanted to say that I got the GPU at the start of 2018 so that's why its overkill for my other components (somewhat)....
My current specs are -
CPU : Intel Core i7-4770
COOLER : Intel Stock....GPU : MSI GeForce GTX 1080 *KEEPING*MOBO : Asus Z87-ProOS : Windows 10 64 BitRAM : 16GB DDR3-1600 (2x8GB)SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 256GB *KEEPING*HDD 1: 2TB WD Blue *KEEPING*HDD 2: 1TB Seagate 7200.12 *FAULTY OLD BOOT HDD ALMOST DEAD NOT KEEPING*HDD 3: 500GB Seagate 7200.14 *KEEPING*
Now before I show my new list of what I am going to get I am going to talk about why I am upgrading and how many monitors I have etc etc....
I am upgrading because as I said my PC is slowly losing performance and is in need of upgrades.
I am going to be using the computer for gaming, streaming, video editing and school work (plus anything else I will need it for)
I have tried to future proof this PC so it will last me for hopefully another 5 years.
I am running two monitors currently but somewhere down the line I will probably get a third.
I already own all my peripherals so I am fine on that part.
Finally, I live in Australia so obviously I am shopping in AUD.
