Oh sorry i completely forgot to mention what i use this cpu for. Aside from gaming i do stream a little and do edit 1080p 60fps videos on Premier pro Wanted to see if i could get same or near same encoding times with the 8700k and streaming on the same cpu

I'm only planning to play on 1080p 60hz with no intention of going 4k or any resolution like that. Maybe at most 1440p at 144hz

Hey guys, currently having buyers remorse here. Long story short got quite a bit of money after my build and regretted not getting an 8700k and instead got an 8600k instead. I have not overclocked my 8600k yet (Currently running a Noctua NH-U12S). Just wondering if it's possible to overclock the 8600k to meet the 8700k stock performance? Cheers
