SzaboAttila reacted to WebPlayz in Surface 2
I have a Surface laptop 1, and personally if your trying to save money go that route. Right now they are 700$ US and you still get the beautiful screen and amazing battery life. Just dont get the 4GB Ram model Go and grab the Intel i5 8GB ram and 256GB SSD I have the 128 and its a bit too small for my basic school needs

SzaboAttila reacted to minibois in Huawei notebooks
Didn't Intel and Broadcomm also announce not supplying chips to Huawei? So in the long term it will likely affect stock of their product. I can imagine the stock they have now will likely go to their networking division before they go to their laptop division (if there is an overlap in supply that is).
I doubt it will have an affect on the Windows updates though.. Although I wouldn't know for sure now.
At the moment I don't have much of an opinion on the matter until more information is given.

Assuming the PC is not old enough where it only has one SATA port, then yes.

You could start the backup overnight and just leave it. And it will probably boost the HDDs performance considerably

Buy an SSD. Install windows 10 on it. Transfer the data from the HDD to the SSD. Prices have fallen for SSDs lately.
Wipe the HDD and then use it for backups of the SSD.

Go balls deep and do it! You'll learn some valuable skills. It'd be a good experience to look back on I'm sure.

SzaboAttila reacted to Corsair Nick in Aio cooler
Corsair AIO's should last at least 5 years. All of our current coolers come with a 5 year warranty should anything happen. Let me know if you need any recommendations for your build.

SzaboAttila reacted to PineyCreek in Difference between B350 and B450?
B350 is for gen 1. B450 is for gen 2. B350 can usually be upgraded by BIOS to support Gen 2, but it's not guaranteed you'll receive one with that BIOS revision. Just get a B350. They're liable to be cheaper. If you don't need overclocking, get an A320.

SzaboAttila reacted to TheSLSAMG in Difference between B350 and B450?
Precision Boost Overdrive and StoreMI are not available on B350, but it won't make a real difference. I'd just go B350.

I am not a pc expert, but I watched a large amount of reviews, and I would go with ryzen, and some 3000+MHz ram
