Tried to do the same.. Using an ASUS z9 PE-D8 WS with two e5 2670's (total of 16 Cores à 2,6Ghz (32Threads)) and a GTX 770. I can not get anywhere near bare performence using unraid to virualize. Using Unraid 6.1.9. Does someone have the Unraid 6.1.3 version Linus used? Maybe there is a quirk here or there.

The Projector definetly has potential upon being a very effective and storage unintensive projector for Home cinema and Presantation use. Through its portability there are endless options regarding the usage location. I'd love to get one of these.

I'd like to refer to Microsoft for that point:
Converting a disk from MBR to GPT through CMD:
-
Open a command prompt and type diskpart. If the disk does not contain any partitions or volumes, skip to step 6.
-
At the DISKPART prompt, type list volume. Make note of the volume number you want to delete.
-
At the DISKPART prompt, type select volume <volumenumber>.
-
At the DISKPART prompt, type delete volume.
-
At the DISKPART prompt, type list disk. Make note of the disk number of the disk that you want to convert to a GPT disk.
-
At the DISKPART prompt, type select disk <disknumber>.
-
At the DISKPART prompt, type convert gpt.
if you have a usb drive with a windows installer on it you can run that and press shift + f10 to open up a cmd which can be used to do the above aswell.

Check the back of the card for anzthing broken of or such, and check the fan header *if its accesable(

My fav on this one is the PSU for sure. It delviers constant and almost perfect Voltage on the different rails and is stable in operation aswell.
Through reviews I have noticed aswell that the fan is damn quiet and that thing is a pure beast.
So PSU as fav on that one!

The 900 Series is pretty neat, but It seems to me like a too small step considering the performence differences between 970 & 770...
But fair enough the pricing and power efficiency pullt that one off by a fair amount.
I LIKE the 900's

I don't even know what is going on anymore, I think I installed it, some features they showed are in, but the Start menu, its not working, just goes to the rubbish metro UI, anyone know how to turn on the start menu to look like what they showed?
Download Start8 a tool which adds a very customizeable startmenu. There is a free 30 day trial available before purchasing for $5 i think

As Linus said, hotspotshield is the fast and easy was to set up a vpn. Fast and easy are mostly related to basic products.I tried HSS and I found it very limiting, only 3 countries you can connect to so no choice of servers or countries. A basic interface that doesn't let you do much. After switching to a more advanced VPN provider I would never go back.

There's no caption option for this video on YT. It would be really helpful and nice if any of you guys who speaks spanish, can translate this video to me. It doesn't have to be really accurate. I just wanna know what they were talking about.
The moment falcao covered his face and cried was really touching. He is currently injured and on a rehabilitation process for the World Cup. That kid really respects Falcao so much.
I hope it's not too much to ask. Thanks LTT.
Edit: why can't I embed the video here?
you should be able to do so...
just take out the time GET variable of the video and it works with the [ media ] tag...

Trusting Nvidia they'll be stubborn in regards to G-Sync, therefore locking it into the closed system realm where it can join fellow Nvidia proprietary things such as PhysX. I really like both G-sync and physX
and think they are the better solution out there, but Nvidia just seems to think that they will sell themselves, when history shows that it just doesn't.
Well considering VBLANK aka FreeSynch is now a standart and "open" it would be nice to see nvidia being like "hey look... there is another thing similar to ours but we have some little extra features improving the gaming experience so we will charge something for it but the monitors will not cost 300$ extra for fucking G-Sync"
In germany those G-Sync Monitors are expected to come in around 400$ over the regular ones (Euros were converted to DOLLARS in a exchange ratio of 1.311 USD per EUR)

Never ever do software OC.
Go in to your BIOS / UEFI and take your time to tinker around there.

I did like the One M7 overall very.. But the one thing that I did not like that much was the lack of expandability in terms of storage as well as the BoomSound speakers getting quieter and quieter over time.
If I could win this Phone it would be absolutly fantastic. I would give my M7 away here or give it to my sister (she is 12 and does not have a phone what a shame..).
Thank you Linus for this grea video! I'm going to share that bit.ly link all over my city

HotspotShield is fast

Then you're wrong. And stop linking gpu bound benchmarks.
You'd see a fps gain of up to 100% in cpu limited scenario's like here: http://www.pcgameshardware.de/screenshots/original/2013/09/SC2HotS-pcgh.png
Just don't listen to him, 15 fps with a 660ti is definitely a cpu bottleneck no questions asked.
Fps improved to 20ish max after the newest drivers so I'd guess its definetly CPU bottlenecked though the driver improved that issue.

see my updated post above
a better CPu wont really do anything
Where is that benchmark from? I've been looking for ages for a decent CPU bench wich is not from russian websites

Hey there,
i tried to make myself a mod bios today to get my nvme pci adapter working but I was out of luck hence the bios needs to be signed.. Asus doesn't want to make me a custom bios for that.
is anyone here who has something like this working in a propper manner?
