  1. I'd say Asus Zenfone 10. Includes the 3.5mm jack, 144hz Super AMOLED screen, IP68, Side Mount Fingerprint Sensor, has a 16GB RAM model with 512GB of storage.
  2. The problem is that Piracy is considered Illegal. And if you open that can of worms, making the avoidance of ads illegal, then ad companies will go nuts with it. And most of us would agree that they've already gone too far. It can still get worse.
  3. After trying EVERYTHING... I found out, it was somehow a bad DP to HDMI cable... I have no idea how it would draw enough power to cause that problem.
  4. So, I bought and self installed mine a while ago. You can get a 120V 12000BTU unit! I have one from Pioneer, and its been working great. Also, do not disconnect your heated baseboards! Mini-splits can't heat your area below if its -25c outside! Please, please do more research on this. It's a fantastic solution, but you need to know more about it.
  5. It will still turn off regularly. But when I go to turn it back on again, the fans ramp up, but nothing posts. Then when I press the power button on my case is shuts off immediately. When I go to press the button again, the power just goes on and off again in less than a seconds, just enough to get the LEDs to light up and go out.
  6. So, I just upgraded my graphics card from a GTX 1060 6GB to a Powercolor RX 5700 8GB. NOW when I reset my pc, in order for it to even post to bios instead of just spinning the fans, I have to flip the switch on my PSU so it'll boot up. My build, just to see everything connected that could be draining power. R5 2600x with a Cooler Master Liquid Lite 120 on it. Gigabyte b450 Aorus M mAtx 2x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws CL16 3200 256GB Samsung 850 Evo Sata SSD 480GB Inland SSD 3TB WD Blue 5400 HDD 4TB Seagate Barracuda Pro Powercolor RX 5700 Red Dragon Corsair Spec-02 case EVGA SuperNOVA G1 650W 80+ Gold Fully Modular PSU (not the G1+) Corsair K70 MK.2 Low Profile Rapidfire keyboard Razer DeathAdder Elite Logitech 2.1 speakers Behringer UMC22 with phantom power turned on for my condenser mic Logitech C920S webcam. An Oculus Rift with 2 sensors. Anyone know the cause of this issue? Didn't happen with the 1060, but that is admittedly a less power hungry card.
  7. Okay, so I'm feeling out an under $400 USD build, for mild gaming like skyrim or Fallout 4, and watching 4k video in the living room. So far my search has led me to this combo: Refurbished HP Z220 SFF i5-3470 3.2Ghz (3.6 turbo), with the 16GB RAM $138.07 Gigabyte 1050ti Low Profile to fit in the case and stay within the TDP limit of the PSU $169.99 Inland 480GB SSD for $59.99 And a windows key from reddit. This might also become an emulation station, and just what we generally use for watching things. But I also want to maybe use it for an in home LAN party. What do you guys think?
  8. Yeah, I got this Dell SE2717H/HX 75hz 6ms IPS display back when I was using an R9 380X. Sold that in the beginning of the mining boom for $300 and used that to get my 1060 6GB. 40% Performance upgrade, so I'm happy.
  9. I tried that one, it looks horrible with V-sync on, and amazing without it. But then again, I'm rocking a 1060 6GB with a Freesync monitor...
  10. Looking at that warframe video, he could've changed quite a few settings to get better performance. Take off Runtime Tesselation, Volumetric Lighting, Motion Blur, and Depth of Field, then it'd probably be breaking 60FPS instead of hitting 50 and lower.
  11. Looking at userbenchmark, the Vega11 on the 2400G only gives around half the performance of the 1050ti. And ultimately only saves me 35W I'm currently on an i5-4690k and 1060 6GB, that'd be a huge step down. I'm trying to go little steps.
  12. Ah, 1030 or RX550 is a bit low for my taste. I like being able to play Dark Souls and Warframe. Considering getting into Monster Hunter again.
  13. Well, I can't get a laptop with those specs, at that price. How does the 2200G compare to that 1050ti?
  14. So I've been considering going off-grid, and that means not having a lot of energy to play with, mostly using solar panels and deep-cycle batteries. I've been playing around with the idea of a low energy gaming rig and was wondering what you guys think! So far the plan is: i3 8300T 3.2Ghz Cryorig - C7 cooler MSI B360i ITX Team Vulcan 8GB (4x2) 2400 14CAS RAM Crucial MX500 500GB SSD 2.5'' MSI GTX 1050ti Silverstone Sugo SG13B SeaSonic 550W Gold Fully-Modular PSU All this on PCPartpicker says the TDP is 165W. And the build is around $750 USD What do you guys think?
  15. A few people and I are planning on getting a house, and none of us actually own a TV. We were thinking that since we really only watch stuff online that we might as well just see what's available in large monitors since we're all gamers. So we ran across the Acer EB0 48.5'' 4k monitor with speakers (EB490QK), for around $500 USD on Newegg. It's 60hz with a 4ms GTG response time. Has VESA mounting.1000:1 Native Contrast (dynamic contrast feels bad man). And it's an IPS panel! What it would primarily be doing is sitting in the living room with my PC hooked up to it. Maybe a few consoles like a Switch, PS4, and Xbone from one of the roommates. My rig's a 4690k @4.2Ghz stable and AIO liquid cooled, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060 6GB, that would also be used for VR some times. Which is kind of why its going in the front room. I know my graphics card isn't going to be running 4k games at good framerates on anything AAA or above medium settings, but what do you guys thinK? Do any of you own one of these monitors and are they good considering the price is very competitive with TVs?
