  1. So, I got this problem: My PC would turn on, and give a short AMI beep, now I found out the ram that I was using for my pc was not compatable, now I did try out different RAM, but again not compatable and gave the same short AMI beep. I got some bsod's that are related to RAM (such as IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL). Now I did some searching, but it seems like nobody has the 1 short beep that they have, and most of the time just slower RAM speeds. Could it maybe be the motherboard that has dead ram slots? As for if the questions raises, I tried all the ram slots, they all gave the same result. Please help and thanks in advance.
  2. So, I bought a Ryzen 2600x, Asus Prime B350-PLUS and G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3200C16S-8GVKB and G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3200C16D-8GVKB (borrowed). Now the problem is that both of the RAM is that according to my speaker from the motherboard, is that 1 AMI beep. now I searched up that 1 beep is called a "DRAM refresh failure". I tried changing the ram in different slots, but the only difference is that the 2*4 (G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3200C16S-8GVKB) bsod on booting into win10, and the 1*8 didn't bsod at all, but still gave 1 beep, and error's in prime95 stress bench, but no results in the mem test from win10, I looked up the ram and 2*4 seems to be compatible with the mobo, while the 1*8 is not. Can this be fixable, as stated by bios central "The programmable interrupt timer or programmable interrupt controller has probably failed". so do I have to change something in the bios? because I really don't know. best regards, Math.
