What if I would like to send less telemetry than "Basic" or want to remove Cortana in its entirety? These tasks are not supported by Microsoft and hence are not available in settings.

Microsoft did say that the data collected was not personally identifiable yet the Dutch DPA found that this was incorrect, they may say that they collect certain data however trusting them at this point would be naïve.

You are on Windows 7, and I am asking on Windows 10. Lmao.

You people are dim as shit thinking this is anything but a troll post. 45 second charge time and a 4 hour battery life?

Must be some Thor's electricity charge. 45 seconds for 4 hours battery life is impossible right now.

Over 60,000 Steam accounts were banned by Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) on Tuesday, July 17, marking the largest VAC wave in the platform’s history. But it was on Wednesday morning that the banhammer really started swinging,, with 28,411 accounts being banned throughout the day.

The VAC system watches over a number of games, including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, the Call of Duty series, and Ark: Survival Evolved, so there’s a chance you might have run into one of these cheaters at some point in time.

Well, R.I.P 60,000 Steam users. Thanks goodness, VAC is still work. At least VAC banned people that deserve to be banned, and not like GTA 5 anti cheat that can't distinguish a cheater and an innocent player.

I can appreciate that, but its normal for an OS to have lots of components you never use and not really practical to remove them all.

I do agree that Microsoft should really have an option to disable all gaming components for none-gaming PCs, but  they don't so you will just be fighting a losing battle trying to do so.

I don't need it on my system because I haven't used it for 3 years. I just want it to be off my system.

Just go action centre, action centre settings and opt out of the customer improvement program.

For those who say this is fine and you can disable it easily in Windows 10, is it really if you have to use 3rd party programs to disable and block connections which you never wanted in the first place?

It used to be that feedback would lead to things being fixed and that more was almost always better. Today Microsoft pretty much forces us to use an online account (timeline offline - 1 day, with Microsoft account -30 days) while every update causes havoc, pain and frustration. For your current business plan Microsoft it really is:

I don't see it in Action Center?
