  1. I think so, the computer shows up on "My Devices" on my microsoft acct
  2. It's definitely dead, I went through all the driver updates and windows updates, thought it was good, then it crash and corrupted windows (if anyone has advice on how to get my product key out of windows that won't start that would be super helpful lol). Thankfully its a founders edition and within the warranty so NVIDIA is gonna accept an RMA. Thank you all for the advice! Greatly appreciated.
  3. It just happened to GTA and crashed the game. It’s dead isn’t it lol
  4. Right but the odd thing is that there are no problems running GTAV at 4K, 60fps. It’s only on empire total war
  5. So that happened on Empire total war, seems like Civ6 is running fine
  6. Anyone have any idea what this means? All drivers are updated, playing a not crazy GPU intensive game at 1080p. It gives me this weird symbols, then resets for a bit before doing it again.
  7. Makes sense. I'll work on that part first. It's not an error window, it more looks like there are goofy pixelated blocks on the screen. I'm not close to the computer now (in storage). It seems like based on the feedback it may be best to just try to figure out what's going on first, but if the GPU isn't the problem, then the full upgrade isn't worth it.
  8. Thank you! So on this kind of system, the DDR5 isn't worth it for gaming performance?
  9. Ryzen 3700X Corsair vengeance 16X2 cl24 Aorus x470 gaming wifi NZXT cooler A second part of the reason for the upgrade - something broke on the computer where I'm getting a display issue even after erasing everything and reinstalling windows. So I want to upgrade, but I'm just praying it's not the GPU.
  10. Budget (including currency): 1500 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA titles, not really into FPS games on PC Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello All, I have a 2070 Super, and I'm looking to upgrade the rest of my set up. Just wanted to get thoughts, Ram and Motherboard seem a lot more expensive than the last time I did this. Does this set up makes sense, and any estimates on what kind of performance I could get using say GTA V as a benchmark? Also considering AMD, but the new Intel generation looks a lot better. Worth waiting for Ryzen 4? And I currently have this monitor (not buying a new one): Amazon.com: Dell UltraSharp U2720Q 27 Inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) LED Backlit LCD IPS USB-C Monitor (7GZ651) : Everything Else
  11. This is what happened. I disconnected and reconnected and I got a short with a pop and smoke and everything. Looks like ill return it
  12. Has anyone encountered an issue wheree everything is installed an connected, the PC won’t post? When I unplug the sata connection, it obviously won’t cool the CPU, but my computer boots to windows. According to PC part picker, I have more than enough capacity on my power supply EVGA GQ750. I use cable mod e series cables that haven’t caused an issue anywhere else. The board is a x470 AORUS gaming 5 Any idea what might be going on?
  13. Switching the drives worked! Have both set up now. Thanks for pointing that out
