  1. That's the next prob... Don't have/access to another PC to test with. Was thinking about buy a new PSU and see if problem solve... If not will send back psu. But before doing so, just wanted to get some thoughts on it.
  2. At one time I connected only 2 case fan with paper clip test and it shut down in 5 mins then I tried it again with same case fan and it shut down in like 10 mins. When that happened, I unplugged PSU and stick a wire in the green and black wires and left it overnight to like drain PSU then pc worked normal for a week until it started it give problem again. So still unsure.?
  3. Hi Guyz... So I built a gaming rig last Christmas and work fine for 2 months. Then one day tried turning it on and it just powered on for split second and shut off. So left it unplugged for few hours then it worked normal again for a few weeks, until it started to randomly shutdown like if there were a power outage(not overheating because it run for hours and sometimes it shut down 10 min when power on). After some digging around I decided to unplug all cables from fully modular PSU except the 24 pin cable and do the paperclip test. Found out that the PSU shut down around 10 mins with nothing connected. So is the brand new clear paper sealed psu failed on me after a few months??? If u need more info let me know.
