Nvidia just announced the RTX 4090 and 4080s. Overall Ada looks great... but Nvidia left out some crucial details that have me concerned.

you will learn more in your first year at a proper job than you will in education over 3/4 years. its an entry level job they will not be expecting the world and they will read your CV and see what you are capable of as long as you show keenness and willing you will be fine. your bosses will want to be asked questions. 

I have the LC 360 the bigger one of these, its performs well, I chose it for the aesthetics as I also changed out the fans.
There are better performing cheaper options but if price is no issue for this purchase will be fine.

Well if you're looking for cheap/easy, then ATMOS soundbar is probably the best you can get.  But anything ATMOS is going to START at $500 for any decent quality.

I’d avoid Samsung, we have one and didn’t realise that if you don’t have a Samsung TV they make everything awkward 

Had an older Samsung AirTrack and it made all the difference with the Vizio TV's really weird sound balancing (inaudible voice, deafening music)

Get on some tracker discords, and other things and try your luck.  All we can say now.

I would say Dell or the Mac. Maybe wait to see what apple does with their Air lineup with the new M1 chips

could you do it? Yes you could. Would it be worth doing it with effective results (enough heat) probably not

1. did you use thermal paste?
2. is it properly mounted?
3. was there a sticker on the cooler cold plate, did you remove it?
4. have you plugged the coolers fans it can spin?

If the temp immediately jumps that fast, there is something wrong with your cooler mounting. Check what @Acid Pandamentioned above. 
 
If anything, take it off and remount it at a minimum.
