  1. does not look like anything is wrong. what exactly is the question
  2. generally black Friday is a stock dump for retailers so they can stock new items. if you see a good deal go for it. you may get a better deal than black Friday though you may not, its change really. there are lots of website that can track prices of items and show trends look at them and get them at a low point for the price.
  3. just a budget laptop really, nothing special to it. you wont be able to game on it very well if thats a consideration same with doing productivity. screen is rather low rez. and an ssd would make the over all experience much better. personally i would look for another. but for every day use not much wrong with it

so i have 2 monitors one is 24" and the other is 27". im using one at the moment, but i would like to use them both at the same time. Does anyone have any suggestions as to vesa or ideas to which i could mount both of the monitors so i cant tell the difference between them size wise. 24" display is benq xl2420g and the other is a dell s2740l. thanks
  5. yeh you can build the entire pc. but for sake of trouble shooting do not put it into the case .
  6. for the most part high fps would mostly be better. ive encountered few games where fps is an issue. but its useful to know its more beneficial at lower fps
  7. so mixed reactions somewhat. i guess its not supprising really? Thank you for the help
  8. So, I have allocated to myself £250-300 to buy a new monitor. Ive been looking at G-Sync monitors but have seen conflicting trends towards both side for yay or nay for the technology. Is it worth paying the extra money to get a monitor that has the module inside it or should i save some money and just got for a 144hz refresh rate monitor instead? I have a GTX 1070 for those wanting to know about driving the monitor. I have looked at the common cases like: ASUS, Acer, Dell, Benq. Any suggestions would be great.
  9. spend more get 144hz one. will make the biggerst difference to a set up also check ebay for deals
  10. slightly different layout and maybe. not quite sure support for different mobo
  11. do look further afield than what pcpp shows. other retailer so sell them. https://www.nzxt.com/retailers
  12. case should have enough air flow. maybe try H440 S340
  13. well if they come in and reduce prices thats not a bad thing. uk regulations are normally quite fast at cutting bushiness off at the legs if they over reach their boundary's. also there are quite a few smaller fibre companies like say gigaclear who came and offered to put gigabit internet to the door. BT sadly got in the way 'wankers'. but there will be enough competition over here to make things interesting
  14. probably just no. would be a waste of money for little or no bonus. some applications it might even perform worse
  15. no you probably if not defiantly won't be able to use a 1080ti on that psu. with those other components. secondly why not just build a pc. it a little cheaper and fun. thirdly, Why the f do you have a 1080ti just 'lying around'?
  16. would depend on the quality of the PSU. how consistently it delivers power. most mostly its not a massive issue
  17. the mobo can affect the oc capabilities. this can be because of power phases and how they deliver then to your components. generally more are better
  18. back up the hard drive now. your probably gonna need a new one
  19. https://www.amazon.com/Zephyrus-i7-8750H-Military-Grade-Customizable-GX531GS-AH76/dp/B07G5Z9H8R?ascsubtag=s1537908310482fx0wa52421&psc=1&SubscriptionId=AKIAJQXDQRH6HAYWR4NA&tag=52421_iceleadscom-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07G5Z9H8R powerful, slim, 144hz screen, 1070,16gb ram, i7 8750. $1899 seems to fit the needs as for black friday/monday can get a good deal sometimes. frequently though its an easy way to offload stock from last year to make space for new/better models because people move like sheep to get a 'good deal'. US is probably worst at this as retailer over hype and market the hell out of it so people only really buy that day when if you keep an eye con comparison sites there are normally better deals at different points around the year. best deals tend to be in feb/mar time. when stuff is returned and needs to be sold.
  20. 1080 is still definitely better. the extra spend would be worth it. also barter with the seller on eBay if they want to sell whittle down the price a little.
