  1. You take 1 physical server with everything a normal computer has then you can run multiple virtual servers on it. The physical server becomes a pool of resources that you can devide up. This way the router, file server, render box, ect run on one physical server because they will never all be running 100% capacity all the time . If you have 100tb worth of hard drives in the physical server you assign vm1 200gb, vm2 30tb, ect until you use the 100tb pool available. Read up of server virtualizion, the Internet can explain better then me.
  2. Are you serious? Have you ever used VMware or hyper-v? The storage in the server is virtual too. Don't comment when you don't know what you are talking about.
  3. Why are you still using physical servers? It's such a waste of resources when you consider hyper-v is free and you could have clustered all your servers. I wouldn't even consider a physical server these days, anything I deploy must be virtual.
  4. Code is not working for me. Tried both shipping and pickup in store.

  6. Brandon did great. Camera stuff would be a good addition to your videos. Glad to see the sandisk I bought 2 days ago was the correct choice.
  7. Sweet new processor. Would love to do some folding with this
  8. Sucks there has to be a giveaway under these circumstances but Pudget is awesome. Loved watching the tour Jerry did and their crazy attention to detail. I have wanted to do a mineral oil build sense seeing slicks in the original video. I really want to do a mini itx htpc build. It would look so cool on my tv stand.
  9. I know it's a crappy game but someone might want it http://amzn.to/1vRANst
  10. It's cool but with how steam limits your friend list and forces people to use their cards to level up to have a larger friends list I don't really see this even coming close to twitch. They will need a "browse streams" to move in that direction too.
  11. @Slick I am the IT guy for 70 ppl and our 7k hard drives sql is borderline done. With 5k ppl sql you guys really need ssd or 15k hard drives. You need raid 10 for hhd raid 6 is fine for ssd to get by. Raid 10 is the best if you can afford it.
  12. I use OwnCloud and BitTorrent Sync and both work great and highly recommend. I personally prefer OwnCloud though.
