  1. ouch, thanks anyways. was hoping some monitor expert would come in and would tell me to tighten a screw or something ,ahaha.
  2. I did this already. when I press the part where the duplication happens, it reacts a little.
  3. I see, I tried updating but still same problem. dont you think it may has something to do with the actual hardware?
  4. Hello Everyone ! Good day to all of you. I have a MSI G241 monitor. 1080P 144hz. I have it for 2 years now and yesterday, I had an issue with it. the bottom part of my screen, where the taskbar is exactly located, turned grainy, I didnt pay much attention to it since I thought its because the game I was playing just got bugged. I turned off my computer and was almost sure it'll be okay when I wake up. Of course, it didnt . the screen was still grainy, I pushed some part of the bottom screen then it became clear. the only issue now is that, its not displaying that it should be. What it does is displaying the top portion of my screen, its duplicating it. so , instead of the taskbar, when I have chrome open, what I are the title tabs of my browsers. I tried multiple troubleshooting,. I used a different HDMI cable, I tried a different port, I tried both VC and onboard graphics, reinstalling/updating drivers, still nothing, Im guessing its the monitor itself.. now, if there are any experts here, can you help me? I would like to avoid buying another monitor since I cant afford it. attached here is a picture of the monitor, if you look closely, the bottom screen shows exactly whats on the top of my screen. Thank you so much in advance.
  5. thanks @Lord Nicoll. Im fully aware of those stuff,, cost, temp , oc . what Im asking is .. if I dont care with all those stuff, is there anything else I should be afraid of with high pow consumption? again, bills , not a problem, temps, well managed
  6. @TheRandomness thanks but I think my 850w psu will be able to handle a vega 64 strix and 2600x. so no real threat like shorter lifespan of hardware, performance degradation over time?
  7. Hello guys! Can you tell my why power consumption is such a big deal for cpu and gpu? AMD cpus and gpus always gets a minus points on reviews because of it. but.. why is it a big deal? I have a small airconditioned room so temps shouldnt be a problem(excellent air flow on pc case as well) and Im not really bothered by electric bills. any other reason why it seems like a big deal?
  8. thanks. its just that everytime I look for any reviews about vega64 all the negative comments are about the power consumption of the gpu. so I thought its a big deal about the card's life span or anything. but if its only about power bills , I think I can live with it. thanks again
  9. how bout power consumption? what difference does it makes?
  10. Hi guys. In my country, rtx 2060 has the same price of vega64. after watching hardware unboxed video about the rtx2060, most of their benchmark shows vega 64 is better on both 2060 and 2070. one thing that bothers me as well is power consumption. why is it a big deal? if its about electric bills then its no big deal, but if its the degradation of the card itself, then thats a different story. any thoughts?
  11. thanks. Yeah but theres quite a difference between the prices tho. I was hoping somebody would know, the link also is for the 1080p version
  12. HELLO GUYS! anyone here who knows this monitor ? 27" HKC M27G1Q I tried looking for any reviews about this but,, I cant seem to find anything decent. Theres a couple of review on youtube but its not as detailed as I was expecting. this is a 1440p 144hz with freesync monitor. any info would be really awesome!
  13. I heard there is some issue with compatibility of the new 8th gen CPU with some mobo's. soo. how bout the cooling? any thoughts? Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L with i5 8400
