So I have a Asus Strix rx580 8gb in my main bulid and a Asus Strix rx580 4gb in my second bulid. I've looking to sell. The rx570 4gb as I dont use the second bulid but then I though is it possible to add the Strix rx570 4gb to my main bulid and crossfire it with the Strix rx580 8gb. Would I benefit from the 4gb card helping the 8gb card if the core needs it and would I now be able to utilise 12gb of vram or would the the 4gb card just use the better card as a duplicate of its self? Thanks guys

Yes you're very right mate. I think i will list it at £250 ($323.76) and include postage. do you think thats a fair price for both partys?
-
So $300 is about £230 over here in the uk. prices are a bit inflated over here. i looked on ebay and used only used parts and bulit it for £429.61 which is $556.37 USD

Hey guys, Hoping you lot and give me a guideline to its value. Thanks in advance Specs are. AMD A10 7800 CPU Overclocked to 4.3Ghz stable Corsair H55 AIO CPU watercooler Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-HD2 Motherboard 120GB SanDisk SSD hard drive 500GB Samsung hard drive Corsair Vengeance Lp 8GB Single stick (also throwing In 2x 4GB Kingston sticks) 2x 120mm ID Cooling fans. I bought it new around 5 months ago for around £40 but I pulled the label off as it was upside down in the case and looked rubbish Asus Strix RX570 4Gb GPU Coolmaster Masterbox Q300l Case. Includes a fresh install of legitimate copy of Windows 10 This system was not used very often as is was a second bulid to run Ubuntu for me to learn Linux.

Ubuntu not seeing Ssd on install.
Mrcapdown replied to Mrcapdown's topic in Linux, macOS and Everything Not-Windows
The drive had Windows 10 installed on it but ubuntu could not see it. I formatted it in Windows in my main pc and ubuntu could still not see it. I then deleted the partition on the drive in my main pc and put it in the new build and ubuntu still can't see it. -

Ubuntu not seeing Ssd on install.
Mrcapdown replied to Mrcapdown's topic in Linux, macOS and Everything Not-Windows
As you can see from my attached photo the bios can see the Ssd and it is set to AHCI as I thought that already may of been the cause but it still don't seem to show -
So I've just thrown together a cheap system to install Ubuntu on. I'm completely new to Linux but I'm very keen to have a play about with it, hence this cheap new bulid so I can leave my main bulid alone. Specs are AMD a10 7800 Oc to 4.3Ghz 4gb off DDR3 memory (8gb stick on the way) SanDisk extreme 2 SDD 120gb Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-HD2 motherboard Coolmaster masterbox q300l I'm trying to install Ubuntu but when I get to the part to chose a drive to install the is too my Ssd is not there. As I said I'm very new to Linux so please go easy.

So I have an Asus strix rx580 8gb I'm looking to crossfire it with another one but to keep costs down I see Asus do a Asus strix rx580 4gb is it possible to dual the same model card but with half the video memory? How will it affect the 8gb? Will it benefit? Is it pointless dualing a 4gb with my 8gb even though it's the same card? Will it reduce the 8gbs cards performance? Thanks in advance Dave

Memory for the speed junkies
Mrcapdown replied to Mrcapdown's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I would like to think I'm a little more advanced than your normal computer gamer/general bulider but unless I'm not reading this right to get a comprehension of a hat you're saying this might be a littk advanced fo me. Could you explain in less advanced terms? -
Advice please! We all go for the highest MHz with memory but I feel the latency is probably as important if not more important. So with that in mind what is the lowest latency DDR4 memory on the market? I have 16gb of Corsair LPX Vengeance 2400MHZ and 8gb of Corsair LPX Vengeance 2666MHZ. So basically 24gb running at 2400MHZ. I realisticly don't that much. So I'm thinking of selling it all and buying 8gb of the best money can buy. Just looking for peoples opinions on this and recommendations for super low latency and super high frequency memory. Thanks in advance

6600k best motherboard for overclocking
Mrcapdown replied to Mrcapdown's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
The CPU had been delided and speed binned to 5Ghz plus by the madduchdude. I'm a big fan of overclocking and like to squeeze every drop out. For what I use my pc this CPU is perfectly adaquate.
