Hello everyone, in two days i'll be going on a vacation from Scandinavia (where i live right now) to the Balkans to visit my family where i'll be staying there for a while. I'll ofcourse arrive there and come back via airplane, however my dad will go there and back with his car.
Now ofcourse i want to bring my desktop PC with me, since i have basically nothing else to bring there to not get me bored. My old laptop broke, i can't use my tablet since i've forgotten the password, and i can't install any programs or games on my phone. So bringing my desktop gaming PC is basically the only option i have to not get bored to death. Which is why i got the idea to package my desktop PC inside a box with ALOT of bubble wrap, and then ofcourse put the box inside my dad's car somewhere where it will remain completely still and not slide around, fall over or bump into anything.
So what is the problem? Well i've already searched up my question on google and i've come across multiple forum threads with the OP asking the same question as me, and alot of the answers told the OP to take out the graphics card AND the cpu cooler if it is heavy and bulky.
Now here's the actual problem itself, i didn't actually build my PC by myself, i just picked the parts and let someone else build it for me since i was too afraid of messing the slightest thing up, and as such i have no experience with building or even just dismantling computers, which is why i would prefer NOT to have to take out my graphics card and/or my cooler.
So here is my actual question, if i want to transport my desktop gaming PC inside a car on a road trip, 2000 KM from point A to point B and back safely, do i have to take out the graphics card and/or the CPU cooler aswell? Even if the whole computer is carefully packaged inside a box with LOTS of bubble wrap, and put in a place of my dad's car where it will remain completely still? Like i said i have no experience with dismantling or building computers and i feel like taking out the graphics card and/or the cpu cooler is too risky. (Graphics card is a GTX 1060 and the CPU cooler is a "be quiet! pure rock" by the way.)
(I would prefer not to dismantle my computer, but if it's absolutely needed to ensure not a single thing breaks then i guess i'm fine with doing it anyway.)
Sorry for my bad wording by the way, i'm a bit stressed out atm.
