Hey currently i have an i5-7600k with an 1070. My motherboard is the MSI Z270 PC MATE. For Christmas i was thinking of upgrading to an i5-9600k and a 2070 or 2070 super. The only concern is I dont know if my motherboard can support this new CPU.
Hello, basically my alienware 240hz (https://www.amazon.com/Alienware-25-Gaming-Monitor-AW2518H/dp/B0733VW5QB/ref=sr_1_5?crid=JRM7JO9NZTSY&keywords=alienware+monitor&qid=1575340437&sprefix=alienware+moni%2Caps%2C129&sr=8-5) monitor's panel is broken and i was inspired/given the idea to replace the panel by myself by one of Linus's videos and was wondering if i could do so with this panel from Ali express: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33006242105.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.18cf3d02dI7Cjt&algo_pvid=c619fca2-7679-413d-934d-95419b963043&algo_expid=c619fca2-7679-413d-934d-95419b963043-0&btsid=ba69085e-9c5a-4368-aeb1-a88b70c45685&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_2,searchweb201603_52. I don't think I can make a warranty claim and I don't know if I could have Dell replace it.
would i be able to run games at 1440p and 144hz? or would it be better to play at 1080p and 240hz? (my dad want to buy me something nice for christmas, because currently i dont have anything expensive that i want
On the website, it says ther is a 4ms response time. In that price range you would probably be able to find something better, such as a widescreen monitor, 3440x1440 with 144hz, or if it is for gaming you could look at some alienware monitors.
Hello, I am currently looking at a selection of high end gaming monitors and have 1 question. Should i buy a monitor with a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 240hz display, or buy a monitor with a 2560 x 1440 or 3440 x 1440 resolution with a 144hz display? I currently use a monitor with a 1920 x 1080 resolution with 144hz. The graphics card in my rig is an 8gb asus 1070.
Another alternative if you do not care so much about the build quality, is the Yeti Nano. It is a miniature Yeti with a plastic body and less knobs on the body of the mic
If the mic ends up going on sale for even before then, you should definitely cop it, but it is truly up to you if you want to wait. Recently the Blue Yeti and Blue Snowball were on sale. $35 for the snowball, and anywhere between $90-$110 for the yeti on amazon. Getting the Yeti for anything less than $110 is a steal and I wish i had bought it when it was on sale.
If you did end up waiting until Black Friday or Cyber Monday, you could purchase a Blue Yeti for prices as low as $60-$90, and have leftover money for other investments.
