I'm not too sure whether this is the right forum to ask for help in, but I assume my issue has something to do with my graphics card. For the past 2 weeks, whenever I opened Mafia 3; the game would crash within 10-20 minutes. I thought it was a problem with the game itself, but today I installed the new COD Warzone. After I finished the tutorial, the game crashed, with the message "Call of Duty Warzone has stopped working". I know the common answer is to update my drivers, but in this case, I think there is something else causing the problems. The issue only happens when I play more graphics intensive games, such as the games above. If I play the Sims 4, for example, there are no issues. What I think the problem might be is that my pc might need to be cleaned and have its thermal past replaced, as I'm assuming the crashes are due to high temperature. I haven't cleaned it since I built it in 2017, so that's my best guess. Can anybody confirm my guess or have a solution to my problem? Thanks

After i updated the driver for my gtx 1060 to driver 417.71, the tiles on my start menu are blank and show download symbols. If i click them, it tells me that they are downloading but the files exist, but nothing shows up in the start menu.

I have an r5 1600, which I got last July. This morning, I saw that the r5 2600 was on sale on Newegg for 230 CAD, free shipping. Should I try to sell my r5 1600 and upgrade to 2nd gen ryzen?

I live in Toronto, Canada. I found an ad of Kijiji for an EVGA SC Nvidia Geforce 970 for $195. Is this a good deal? Keep in mind it is CND. If it is not a good price, what would be a suitable one?
