  1. I'm looking for a new laptop for school and a little gaming, would buying a gaming laptop be the best option for price to performance? I am not worried about touchscreen or anything like that, and I am just looking for a good traditional laptop. It seems that all of the study or business laptops that I could buy seem way over-priced when compared to gaming laptops at the same price. Would that be right, or am I missing something? Thanks P.S I'm going to bed so I'll reply to any answers in a few hours. See you then!
  2. Hey all, I can currently pick up a G25 for $250 NZD, and they are fairly uncommon. Would this be a good buy in 2019, given the age of the wheel? Thanks in advance.
  3. Thanks for the response, I think that the clicking noise was a fan, as it is not a problem anymore, but I have found that the wining noise that was occurring is a common problem for my gpu (gigabyte g1 1070).
  4. Thanks for the speedy reply, This information is a lot of help.
  5. Hi all, I noticed the problem when I heard a clicking noise coming from my graphics card, and I read that it is caused by capacitors charging and discharging quickly. Since I have my power supply power connected to a 10 amp multi board, and the input for my power supply is 10 amps. Would this be causing an issue?, as I have a 1.5 amp monitor connected to the same multi board. Also my power supply is 650W. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks for the replies, Definitely helped me.
  7. Would anybody be able to recommend me a decent power bank? I've been looking for hours but all of the main choices are either of low quality or it won't ship to me. I am looking for one that is over 10,000mah and it's a solid bonus that it has a solar panel. Also, I'm from New Zealand. Thanks in advance.
  8. I need to know if Antec 16GB 2666mhz https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MEMANT4271735/Antec-16GB-2-x-8GB-DDR4-2666Mhz-CL16-12v-White-Des Would be compatible with the asus z370a and a i7 8700k. Would anybody be able to help me with this?
  9. I attempted to install my Cryorig R1 into my motherboard, but the mounting bracket was too large for the heatsink screws and is 3mm off. Is this a compatibility issue, or is this a faulty product? Thanks in advance.
