  1. Hi all, I am currently a student in the UK doing GCSE DT coursework. (The GCSE is a nationwide test that everyone around the age of 16 takes). For this coursework I am designing a building a PC case. The course requires a survey and I thought you guys could help. Here's the link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/DNQNSC9
  2. ok litrally as i was reading your reply my cpu hit 100 and shut my laptop down automaticly...
  3. Hi guys. I will be watching You-Tube full screened (on Chrome) and my CPU will be at least 60 degrees (Celsius), sometimes over 70... why is this? Is it a common issue? Sometimes the heat will make my keyboard hard to use as it will burn my fingers if I use it for too long. When this is happening the fan noise is very loud. Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks
  4. Hi, I just got a new mobo and it came with the safety cpu socket cap loose in the anti static bag. Also the thing that goes over the SSD was still screwed in but loose and not clipped in. The cpu pins are fine and the whole mobo 'looks' OK. But could there be some unseen damage that could fry my 9900k or 2080 ti?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

  6. Hi, What do you guys think of this build? Do you have any recommendations? https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/fRzCYT Thanks
  7. Hi, This is a stupid question but I was looking at 2080 ti's. I may get a fe but just wanted to know if the nvidia gpu on their website is a fe. I was told that fe 's are limited edition, if so have they run out? Is the one on their website a nvidia non founders version? Thanks
  8. Hi guys, I've narrowed my options down to these: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Henry12321432515/saved/kn3LJx https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Henry12321432515/saved/66XTBm https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Henry12321432515/saved/vykFt6 Which would be the best in your opinion? It's going to be used for gaming. I will add an SSD in the near future. Thanks
  9. Hi, Here is my planned build, have you guys got any suggestions for it? I will add an SSD in the near future! Also, don't Diss on the case, some how I love the way it looks. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Henry12321432515/saved/66XTBm Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks
  10. There isn't warrenty verbage as far as I can see.
  11. Hi, I'm looking at a 2080 ti Lightning Z on Ebay. I would never dream of getting a 2080 ti without a warrenty so I'm asking you this: As far as I know it comes with a paperless automatic warrenty and then you can regester for an extended warrenty. Would the automatic warrenty transfer across to me if I bought it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  12. I'm told the Lightning Z needs to have an efficient power supply, every little helps.
  13. I found that the cards with the highest overclock were the Lightning Z and the FTW 3. They are around the same price except the MSI has a screen on the side. There for, the Lightning Z is better value. Also, the fact that I can say "my gpu clocks above 2000 Mhz" ?
  14. Added small SSD, but as I said I will get a larger one (probably an M. 2) in the near future.
  15. OK ok, ? Forgot to add, I'm going to get one in the near future.
  16. Hi, After many, many revisions this is what I've come to. Do you guys have any recommendations? Will the cpu cooling be adequate? BTW, I want to mount the cpu colling rad on the top, so, if I change the size of the rad I have to change the case. I'm right on the tip of my budget here, I can't really afford to spend even 30 quid more. I'm going to get an SSD in the near future. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Henry12321432515/saved/kn3LJx Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks
