  1. in my opinion I think your power supply is the problem. Or there is something in your computer case causing a short.
  2. you could try disabling the igpu in your bios and see if that makes a difference?
  3. that is a good option, of course make sure its compatible with your RM1000x.
  4. use the cables that come with your power supply, don't use cables from another power supply.
  5. I feel like instead of investing in a graphics card, you should invest in a new case / power supply. So you do not have to deal with the proprietary issues in the future. I imagine your asking these questions because you don't feel like spending more money then you have to on the computer; but these upgrades would make your computer much more upgrade friendly.
  6. are you overclocking your graphics card or cpu?
  7. I am sure it will be a paper launch. Even if they do have decent supply, will it ever be enough with the demand right now ?
  8. I looked up your power supply on Amazon and the top review is about power instability. might be worth trying a PSU swap if possible?
  9. Your computer worked completely fine until you installed this new graphics card ?
  10. I notice in your specs that your previous graphics card is AMD. Maybe there is a old Radeon graphics driver sitting around causing problems. See if your computer lets you do a clean windows install and reinstall Nvidia drivers?
