  1. I referred to my monitors owner manual found here (And attached to this comment): https://www.lg.com/au/support/support-product/lg-24MP48HQ In page 19 it explains: I have also attached the manual here for ease of access . I'm personally keeping it at High for Competitive FPS games like CS:GO. Still unaware of what exactly this changes but I will just go by the manual for now until I or someone else run some tests on this option. Enjoy! MANUAL: 20_22_23_24_27_MP48_A_D_HQ_ENG_AU.pdf P.S For anyone wondering it is set to Medium by default.
  2. Had microphone disabled in privacy settings.... *facepalm*
  3. Alright so I've been having issues with my audio drivers lately. I was having a problem with realtek drivers disconnecting after i unplug and re-plugged my headphones into front audio. So I uninstalled them and scanned for hardware changes in device manager or restarted and when i checked again I had new ones installed by windows. The top 3. Digital Audio, Headphones, and Speakers which I don't have connected. This setup worked fine for a few days audio worked seamlessly and I could use my mic. Then one day my audio cut out and I tried everything I could think of and it didn't fix it, switching from Digital Audio (S/PDIF) to Headphones brought my audio back but it doesnt support mics by itself. I tried setting default communication device to Digital Audio and default device to Headphones, audio worked mic didn't. Not sure where to go from here.. I tried reinstalling realtek drivers instead of these which didn't help either. If I remember correctly neither audio nor mic worked. I'd really appreciate some help thank you! Here are some screenshots, if further information is needed please let me know. P.S. When i check listen on the mic i can hear it fine, but all programs refuse to use it.
  4. How do I do that? The driver im currently using doesnt have any UI or software that it comes with. The Digital Output does but it is disabled and I had checked do not show icon in icon tray anyway and i think i disabled popup so idek how to access that even if i enabled it.
  5. Hi I recently bought and built my new PC and everything been great. My only problem has been audio issues. Audio works perfectly fine but after unplugging my headphones (from the front audio jack) most times I get no audio after plugging it back in. Hope that made seance. I have tried reinstalling audio drivers, updating etc. Didn't fix it. I'm not even 100% sure this is an audio problem. But I think it started here, after i got the computer up and running I looked up the mother board I have (Asus Prime z370 a) and I downloaded everything on the support page, the drivers bios etc. And also downloaded the realtek audio driver on the page (https://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/PRIME-Z370-A/HelpDesk_Download/). This digital output driver was seemingly giving others issues and I didn't like it either so I uninstalled it only for it to magically reappear after a restart. Same with the NVIDIA Output drivers that theres 4 of for some reason when i go to playback in sound options. None would uninstall so I disabled them and installed a new audio driver from realtek which doesnt have any dumb popup messages that come up when you plug anything in but im still having the problem where i cant hear after i plug my headphones back in. until i restart. What is the problem? Is it software? or hardware? I really hope its just software and an easy fix and I wont have to do a clean install and wipe everything I've downloaded in the past week or so. Thanks ahead of time! <3 P.s I have tried reinstalling/disabling razer surround too. Doesn't seem to be the problem. Update: I downloaded the driver from that link again and ran a seemingly useful uninstall.cmd file that came with it but the driver is still there and so is the problem. Tho I dont think the driver is the problem considering it is disabled and therefore not in use. Unless a weird setting still effects the current driver. I had only used my computer for at most a day when I installed that driver so maybe the problem was there I just didn't spend long enough to face it.
