  1. I recently rebuilt my computer and added a secondary m.2 drive along with a new mobo. I wiped my drives, did a clean install, updated windows, and flashed my bios for the mobo. Everything is working fine and there are no problems, but I found this file in my 2nd drive that I've never noticed before. Do I need to keep it? Can I delete it? What is it for? The drive that I found it in is not my main drive. See picture below. Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, but I wasn't sure where to ask Thanks.

    Soundbar to PC

Okay thanks! I know it's a dumb question, but I never understood hdmi out and in and what needs to be plugged into what etc. Wasn't sure if for some reason I wouldn't be able to play atmos through media on the PC etc. All this stuff is confusing.

    Soundbar to PC

So I would plug the PC into an hdmi port on the soundbar (not arc) and then plug the arc hdmi on the soundbar to the arc on the TV?

    Soundbar to PC

Yeah, but Dolby atmos isn't supported by toslink or 3.5mm

    Soundbar to PC

Hey guys, I don't know anything about sound, I've always just used headphones, but let me tell you what I was hoping to do. Please tell me if this is how it should go. I just ordered an x900h TV that I want to use as a computer monitor. I also want to get a Dolby atmos soundbar to go with it. I will plug the soundbar arc into the TVs arc hdmi port. I will then plug the PC into an hdmi port into the TV. I don't have to connect the soundbar directly to the computer if I'm going to be using the TV as a monitor, do I? Edit : does pc even support Dolby atmos (DD+)? I don't care about TrueHD. I get really confused with hdmi in and out and what device needs to go to what port.
  6. Maybe I'll consider a different case then. That's impressive, I can't believe the guy was getting 68C. The Enthoo ITX suffers from mediocre thermals.
  7. Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I may just consider a 3080 if the temps are manageable and rebuild next gen in a larger form factor, although the mini itx has been a lot of fun.
  8. Anything and everything, it's not that I really need a 3090, just like a 70 year old man doesn't need a Ferrari, but it's just wanting to have it. I wasn't able to have these things in my early 20s, so now that I can afford them it's nice to splurge haha. Edit: I don't know that a Hybrid card would fit due to the 240mm AIO only being able to fit on the top of my case. It would block the the radiator of the hyrbid card on the front or back.
  9. You don't think a FE 3080 would be okay? It's a dual slot 3080 that should fit, but I wouldn't really feel comfortable putting something in my case that would reach temps higher than 85C.
  10. That was my concern, I thought it would be a neat thing to do, but it just might not be practical.
  11. I haven't been able to find a lot of information about 3090 temperatures in mini itx cases. Even if temps are stable in larger cases, it doesn't necessarily apply to mine. What kind of temperatures do you think I'd expect to see? 90c? Higher than that?
  12. Budget (including currency): N/A Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Any Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I currently have a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv TG Mini ITX case. It's a dual slot case and I currently have a 2080 ti evga black GPU. The length is fine, but the height of the card is what is a tight squeeze. (See pictures below). I was wondering if anyone knew what my options will be for a 3090, or if I should just for-go the option entirely. I did happen to find a 3090 that is a dual slot card (see link below) and it looks slim enough that height won't be an issue, but it is a blower card. I don't want to get it if the temps are going to be insane. My 2080ti reaches around 81c under max load in my case, which is toasty, but definitely acceptable. Is there a better option that I'm missing? I don't think I've seen any other dual slot 3090s. Even a lot of dual slot 3080s look a little too tall for my case to accommodate. Just looking for some feedback. 13. SOLVED For those of you who happen to come across this problem yourself, this is how I fixed it. I downloaded a program called MiniTool Partition Wizard. I deleted the recovery partition that separated the 2 portions of the drive. I then right clicked the (C:) drive and pressed extend and extended the unallocated drive to become a part of the (C:) drive.
  14. I was able to delete the recovery partition and I turned the unallocated portion of the drive into a new volume (F:). How do I merge the (F:) and (C:) drives now? There is nothing on the (F:) partition.
  15. I suppose the issue was trying to clone a smaller drive to a larger drive. I really wanted to avoid having to re-download Windows and all of my software etc. It's not a big deal and I don't mind having to do it, but I'm at my download limit with Xfinity and didn't want to have to wait until the 1st. The 516MB partition is a recovery partition, so if I delete that partition do you think I'd somehow be able to allocate the unallocated 976GB to my (C:) drive? How would I be able to do that without having to create a new volume?
