  1. Im from california, budget it roughly 2400 max, and I wouldnt say I have a max weight, just something within reason to carry in a backpack
  2. Okay, I just recently bought the new XPS 15 Laptop, had everything I need on it, and I am purchasing a second monitor to do dual displays for video editing, photoshop, general multitasking, etc. Whats a good, fair priced docking station that'll work so I can hook up both displays to my laptop? Realistically both displays will probably not be 4k.
  3. Both will have the intel 8th gen I7 6 core processor, the Aero has an 8gb 1070 in it, whereas the dell has 4gbs of 1050TI in it. Both will also have 1 tb of storage in it and 16 gb of ram
  4. Okay so I'm a soon to be college student, and I get a laptop of my choice as my graduation present. To give you context on what I will be needing in a laptop: I will be going to college for Media Arts & Design, specifically I want to do filmmaking. I also edit video for youtube, so there will be a lot of video editing, graphic design, photoshop done on this laptop. I need it to have decent battery life so It can handle a lecture full of notes and not die on me. I currently own two monitors, so I will be hooking this laptop up to those to help with my editing workflow, but I will probably use a dock to do that. As far as gaming goes Im not exactly worried about that, I really only play Civ, starcraft type games, but I mostly play on Xbox/PS4. I've narrowed my options to the Gigabyte Aero 15x or the XPS 15 based on specs and suggestions I got from friends. However, I cannot decide which one to get. What would be the better option? or should I go with something else?
