  1. Thanks for the pic. Can you still fit another 120mm on the side there? I see you can also mount a HDD behind the cpu socket, I just have 1 so might just do that
  2. You're the perfect person for my question! I just purchased the 1600 P2 and the 5000D. Do I need to remove the HDD cage to fit it or can I move it up far enough to fit the PSU? If not, can I mount my lone HDD anywhere else? Can't find the answers to this.
  3. So looking to upgrade my PSU for the 4090. I can get the P2 1600 for $209 currently. Do you think that is a good option? The 2 superior options you mentioned are double that
  4. I’ve been having this issue since the update. 3 orange bars. Tried everything suggested here and nothing. Never had this issue beefier and have played since the start. 10900k 3090.
  5. It is such a shame because otherwise this thing is fantastic. I really hope I can get one with minimal bleed. I don't care about some IPS glow, but this is ridiculous. For reference, this is the LG 27GL850 I had before that I was perfectly content with. I am not crazy picky. It had some minor bleed bottom left also (based on the same Nano IPS panel as the Dell) but it wasn't too bad in comparison.
  6. They have agreed to replace it but it is crazy this passed QC checks. It even shows up with bright overhead light on clear as day.
  7. G-sync just hasn't felt right since I got my 3090. I have an LG 27GL850, LG c9 and just got a Samsung G7 and it just doesn't feel right on either. It was perfect on the LGs with my 2070S. Something is going on. It just doesn't feel as smooth as it should. I am going to return the G7 and try the AW7121 with the actual module.
  8. Question, are these stutters occurring despite solid frametimes and solid framerate? I noticed the UFO test was having issues with my 3090 the other day but I am not sure what programs and such I had open when doing it. I’m going to do some more testing on that tonight and I’ll take a video so I can see if it is the same issue as you’re having Edit: Just went back and looked into your Afterburner screenshot. Looks like frametimes are up and down a little but nothing crazy. If you cap to 140fps via RTSS with smooth frametimes you still get stutter and tearing with Gsync on and NVCP Vsync on? If I put Gsync plus Vsync with 140fps cap I don't get tearing but something doesn't feel smooth in Cold War/ Warzone. I had a 3080 before my 3090 so I don't think this is an issue with my particular card as it wasn't feeling right on the 3080 either. Here is a quick video of Cold War I took with my monitor HZ on display. No tearing but doesn't feel smooth as it should
  9. Ok, yeah probably just this same issue I am experiencing. I will report back once I get the G7 and let you know if it is ok on that display
  10. Yea I am thinking it is probably a 3000 series issue and or the drivers since the 3000 series was released. I couldn't' even use the drivers from Sep.17 on for my 2070 cause it seriously broke my card. I created a ticket with Nvidia today so they are aware of the issue. We will see how the G7 works for me. Promising to know that your monitor was eventually fixed through drivers. I was really enjoying Warzone on my 2070 but since I got this 3090 I haven't been able to sit down and enjoy myself at all. Last time I am being an early adopter. Edit: Doing some research, this guy is talking about the G7 and his HZ are jumping around like crazy despite his framerate being 110fps they are jumping up to 240HZ
  11. I have tried capping in game, with RTSS and in the NVCP and it doesn't seem to make any difference. I was playing last night and even if I cap to 125hz it will shoot all the way up to 144hz occasionally. This wasn't happening with my 2070 (or maybe it was? I never really got above 120fps in games). Someone gave me a link to a program that adds a line with the monitors refresh rate to RTSS called RtssNvidiaVblankStatus.exe. I am going to try that and confirm for sure that what my OSD is telling me is accurate. I actually just ordered an Oddessy G7 today to test out and that is 240hz so I shouldn't be bumping into my monitors max cap.
  12. I actually have a C9 also, and it doesn't feel smooth either but I wasn't able to confirm if it had the same issue as it doesn't have a live in display HZ counter but this seems to confirm by suspicions it was something to do with LGs software on both Unfortunelty I actually own the LG 27GL83A which is basically Amazons version of the 850, I just said the 850 so people know what I am talking about and it doesn't have the USB port so there will be no firmware updates for me. Guess I will use this as an excuse to buy a G7 that is onsale right now. So Gsync just isn't feeling as smooth as it should on your C9/B9 or what is happening?
  13. I am having issues since I got my 3090 with my monitor and I am trying to figure out if it is my card or my monitor or just a driver issue or if this is just normal behaviour. Gsync just doesn’t feel smooth. It felt fine with my 2070s on this monitor. If I cap my framerate, even if it is a rock solid stable fps my monitor OSD will show the HZ fluctuating wildly when it should be pinned to around the capped framerate. This happens with any framerate cap, in game, RTSS, NVCP etc. If I cap anything above 135fps my monitor keeps bouncing up to 144hz. Here are a couple videos I have recorded. If anyone has this monitor, could you please test this for me and tell me how it is behaving for you. I do not know if this is what is causing my issues but like I said it felt fine with a 2070s. RDR2 locked to 65fps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iW0OrbB6qO8&feature=emb_title Warzone locked to 100fps https://www.youtube.com/w...&feature=emb_title Warzone locked to 140fps https://www.youtube.com/w...&feature=emb_title
  14. What happens if you lock to 140fps? If I cap near my monitor refresh rate my monitor seems to lock to 144hz. Also, what monitor do you have?
  15. So I am having this issue with my 3090. Is this normal behaviour? Monitor LG 27GL850 Gsync compatible. In Warzone if I cap at 140hz my monitor basically locks to 144hz. With Vsync on there is no tearing, but am I then getting input lag? With no vsync just gsync locked to 140 my monitor still is locking to 144hz and I get tears and both scenarios it doesn’t feel like it is perfectly smooth. Here is a couple examples of my monitor HZ vs framerate. I am locked to a rock solid 65fps here but I am fluctuating a lot on my OSD hz.
