  1. Works fine with an MSI MAG24c... with a couple exceptions. #1 there's some very faint flickering in loading menus - this doesn't seem to happen in-game. I assume it's due to frames dropping to zero or well below the vrr range. #2 Barely works at all having a second 60hz fixed monitor plugged into hdmi. Loads of flickering, and painful lag. So every time I want to play a game with gsync on, I have to tell windows to only display on the MSI monitor. Kind of annoying, but I'm hoping Nvidia will fix issues with mismatched display setups.?
  2. I used to be super into headphones. Had a dac/amp and custom Sennheiser HD580. Unfortunately I had to part with them for financial reasons. I was also given a Onkyo turntable with an Audio Technica cartridge of some sort by my aunt. There's just something special about listening to analog sound ?
  3. I'm somewhat new to this too, so maybe my input is just the blind leading the blind, but what exactly are you trying to achieve in terms of clock speeds on the cpu? Are you running the RAM at it's rated speed or trying to go over that? Also try upping the voltage on the SOC. No more than 1.2v, but the default 1.1v is fairly low from what I understand.
  4. Definitely look for a bios update. I had to run my 3200mhz ram at 3066 for the longest time. But with my mobo finally getting an update to the agesa code (1.0.0.6), I can run it at 3200 using XMP, even got an extra 100mhz on the CPU ?
  5. Vega 64 is part of your problem, since their games run even worse on AMD. That splash screen at the beginning is an absolute joke
  6. Ah, I figured it out. Apparently this laptop only supports SATA through m.2 and not PCIe. I exchanged the PCIe nvme for a SATA interfaced one and it worked (Crucial MX500). The more you know....?
  7. Yeah, i tried to do that, but the opposite end is too thick to fit in the 4 pin area ?
  8. Hey everyone. First post to these forums, and hopefully it's not too dumb. I'm trying to upgrade the storage in an Acer Swift 1 (sf114-32-p2pk). I bought a 128gb m.2 nvme ssd and well I guess I got the wrong one, because it's not showing up in disk management. I've never used any m.2 storage before and didn't know there were different kinds. I'm guessing I need a "M" keyed drive according to this article, my drive does fit, it just doesn't have a pin for pin match. https://www.atpinc.com/blog/what-is-m.2-M-B-BM-key-socket-3 The bios is very limited on this thing, so not much I can do there. I have to get it something it will be happy with by default. Thanks in advanced to anyone who can help my dumba** ?
