  1. This one, right? https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-TOMAHAWK-MAX
  2. No. I left the whole system back home. I may start with 250GB SSD for now. I’ll just upgrade when necessary. I forgot to ask, can you confirm if NVME M.2 doesn’t have significant impact in gaming when compared to having just 2.5in SSD?
  3. Hello and thank you for visiting my thread. I want to build my new system because I left my old one at home and I'm working overseas. Help me please? 1. Budget & Location 1000-2000 SGD 2. Aim Gaming. I will play mostly DOTA2. But I don't want to limit the system with just that game. I want to be able to play games in the next year or two. 3. Monitors Just one 1440p monitor. 4. Peripherals I will be purchasing 27-inch 1440p monitor but not sure which one yet. My budget for monitor is outside of the aforementioned. 5. Why are you upgrading? I moved overseas for work. I only have a macbook right now which I use for programming and to play Dota Underlords, and I can hear them fans spinning so hard Here's my options so far: Build 1 (Max) AMD 3700x RTX 2070 Super 2x8GB 3200 RAM 250 NVME m.2 SSD Motherboard? Not yet sure but I heard some issues with B450. Build 2 (Budget) AMD 3600 RTX 2060 Super 2x8GB 3200 RAM 250 NVME m.2 SSD Motherboard? Not yet sure but I heard some issues with B450. Build 3 (Mid ? Sorry. Lack of a better term) AMD 3600x RTX 2070 Super 2x8GB 3200 RAM 250 NVME m.2 SSD Motherboard? Not yet sure but I heard some issues with B450. Build 4 Your suggestions I appreciate all your response. Thank you
  4. Sorry I didn't mention. Yeah, I had the first gen Samsung 850 evo. I think he's getting old too
  5. ASUS STRIX H370-F GAMING seems like a good value worth less than $200. I'll consider that. Thank you! Interesting take. Yeah, but noticed some slow down in my computer recently. Maybe because I haven't formatted my computer in like 3 years?? LOL
  6. Hey there. Thanks for looking into my post. Straight to the point so I don't waste a lot of your time (actually by letting you read this, I've already) I have an aging but still working i5-4570 processor which is celebrating its 5th year today and I'm looking to replace it with i7-8700. It seems to be a good value processor. Now, I am hunting for good value motherboards too which I happen to find ASUS TUF H310, a $100 mobo. In terms of RAM, I'm gonna stick with 2666 Mhz or go with 3200 and buy another mobo instead. I honestly don't have any plans yet. If you're wondering what stuff I do in my computer, I play MOBA, write some software here and there and that's pretty much it. Is this upgrade worth it or should I just keep my gear? Open for other suggestions. Thank you EDIT: I'm also looking at ASUS Strix Z370-G and ASUS Prime Z370-A.
