  1. the s4 is $250 more so for the small upgrade from a snapdragon 820 to a 835 seems underwhealming (im fuled by googling so if it actually a great deal for some reason let me know, these are just my impressions) but yeah i fully agree with all your points, apple is way better when it comes to tablets. unfortunatly my dad says he trouble with exel and powerpoint on apple (plus he is a bit stuborn sometimes and he has decided long ago that he doesnt like apple xD). thank you so much for the help well looks like we wernt completely off then thank you so much for the help
  2. sorry for the late respond my labtop died oh well. i dont think we are particulairly looking for the latest and gratest, its just more of trying to get one for a resonable price. we dont have a budget per say its mostly just getting a good tablet with a solid user experience without having to blow a crazy ammount of money.
  3. Hey everyone My father has wished for a tablet this christmas, and my mom and i are looking to give hime one. He has however asked that it should not be from Apple, and with that goes my idea for the tablet as I feel like tablets are one of the things apple really does do well. And as I am unfamiliar with the tablet marked I'd love to hear if anyone has some tablets they like using (or some we definetly shouldnt buy). I expect it to be used mostly for work related things, email and such as well as for movies. We are currently looking at the Samsung Tab S3 9,7". Thank you so very much for your time (and happy holidays to everyone as well)
  4. alraighty, the second pcie slot worked, although it seems like the locking mechanism isn't in a great condition. but now i have an image. thank you so much both of you for the help ^^ @DocSwag @Glenwing
  5. @DocSwag no i havn't tried that yet, imma give that a shot. thanks
  6. yes. i have tried connecting the monitor to the graphics card with both DVI and HDMI, neither worked, and when the graphics card is in the computer connecting the monitor to the motherboard doesn't work either, however as soon as i take the graphicscard out connecting it to the motherboard works again.
  7. I took apart my old computer that wasn't working and cleaned it, changed ssd and psu and then put it back together. I installed a fresh windows 10 and everything is working normally, without the graphicscard that is. Whenever I turn it back on after putting in a graphicscard the monitor says there is no connection and no image appears. Specs Motherboard: P8Z77-V LX CPU: i5-3570 PSU: Corsair CX550M, 550W PSU 80+ bronze SSD: ADATA SU800 256GB Graphicscards i have tried using a GTX 1050 ti and a GTX 1060 3GB that i have not seen running before and a GTX 1050ti from ASUS that was bought new and worked in this system before i took it apart (only about 3 months old) Have tried using both VGI and HDMI and confirmed with a different system that both the cables and monitor works. all fans will be spinning including the one(s) on the graphic card and everything will light up like normal however there will for some reason not be a connection to the monitor. afraid it might be the windows 10 causing trouble or even worse that the motherboard could be damaged Id appreciate if anyone could come up with a suggestion for a solution as im slowly running out of ideas, any idea would be helpfull, thank you for your time.
  8. having a similair issue, i dont think the cable is the cause as i tried both with the stock cable and a cable i got on amazon that was well rewieved and rated for 144hz edit: actually i think its the exact same issue edit 2: got a replacement monitor and yet another cable from asus just now and same issue is showing, its likely either a driver or some other software that causes it
