Hello, me and my friend have been researching a lot recently for a good gaming computer for around £700. I am creating this post as I feel like people on here might be able to help us out to build the best pc for the price. As I stated in the title, it can be a desktop or a laptop. I strongly recommend upgrading your RAM to 8gb. Your Hard Drive space is very low also so i recommend upgrading to a 1TB at least. And a good, cheap GPU is a gt 1030 as Campy said. Its a very good choice.

My friend just messaged me saying he is getting lower fps on fortnite then what he usually gets, I told him to scan his PC for viruses and there wasn't any, the usage of the CPU, GPU and RAM seemed fine so i told him to format his PC. After that, he installed only fortnite and tried it again. He had the same fps. He gets around 70 now and he used to get above 100 easy. So i reached out to you guys as i have no clue what the problem could be. Specs: CPU: i7-8700 @ 3.2ghz GPU: GTX 1060 6gb RAM: 16gb

I use norton on all of my systems in my house, I believe free antiviruses can never compete with paid premium ones, I strongly recommend investing into a paid one as this to me is a very big chance of a virus

I dont think a hard drive can affect the usage of a CPU unless theres some bad files on it. Did you buy it used or new?
