  1. So, I wasn't entirely sure if this was the right place to go for this, but it couldn't hurt. Right? Anyway I had a dumb idea on the heels of the recent water-cooling project video. What if I could cool my car seat? None of that fancy Ford seat cooling technology. Just me, some tubes, pumps, and radiators. This coming from someone who has never water-cooled anything before, not even a computer. Anyway, I was hoping y'all could give me some suggestions on what parts would be optimal for such a project, with consideration for space, power requirements, and low margin for error. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated.
  2. So i got my ram upgraded and while i have noticed a difference in general multitasking, my game has not improved in performance. I know its a bit of a longshot and a tad off topic, but is it possible that my GPU is being bottlenecked by my power supply? I cant recall a time it's gone over maybe 60% usage, could this be a sign of low power causing performance issues?
  3. Ive seen similar issues with MHW mainly.
  4. I've attatched a screenshot of my current stats without the game running, just chrome and some small background items. Along with this i also posted WITH the game running for comparison. I'm still not entirely clear on what to look for on committed or at the very least what the reading means for performance.
  5. A lot of my memory usage is with chrome open as well. Classic chrome. But I have what i thought would be a generous 6 GB dedicated to MC alone but it seems to eat it up.
  6. Dual Channel and modded minecraft. I only have 6 gigs dedicated to minecraft specifically.
  7. So, since I threw this PC together, I have consistently experienced some pretty unexpected frame drops in games, despite what I'd expect from my hardware which is as follows; RX 5600XT Ryzen 5 3600 16 gb 3000mhz memory 1tb SSD 64bit Windows 10 Dual 1080p Monitors 600w PSU B350 Motherboard I have never had a consistent framerate in any game. I suspect my ram is to blame however I'd prefer to get a second opinion before I pull the trigger on 32gb of 3200mhz. My GPU usage sits on a consistent 60% in most games, CPU hardly breaks 10%, but my ram is consistently edging the 80-90% mark. While I do play my game pretty heavily modded, I didn't think my computer would chug this hard. I'm going as low as 5 frames with the lowest settings available. My drivers are up-to-date, BIOS flashed as recently as November, and I have no present errors or compatability issues. Any other ideas as to what the cause could potentially be? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  8. So I have a bit of a weird one for you guys, and I'm not entirely sure I'm in the right place, but I need help so here I am. I just recently relocated my setup into a dorm room. I have a PS4, a wii u, and a custom pc rocking a Gigabyte B450m, ryzen 5 3600, 16 gigs of 3200mhz ram, a 1 terabyte SSD, and a 5600 XT to top it off. Upon setting up in my dorm, I found that my computer would post, but windows would not boot up, at least not visibly. My bios would boot no problem, but as soon as windows tried to boot I'd get a no-input message from my monitor. Booted into safe mode to check my driver's, check resolution, and all that stuff. Booted into safe mode no problem. Figured huh, that's weird, but for me to worry about a different day. Moving on to hook up my Wii U, I find that it won't display at all on my monitor. Damn, guess something must have broken in my Wii U during the move. So as a desperate attempt to play a game, any game, I hook up my PS4 and guess what, no display. Nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Basically my coming here is to confirm my suspicion of... Is my monitor dead? Or is it in an way shape or form just my display cable? Any help you can offer is very much so appreciated. Love u guys.
  9. Usage has been telling me that when i try to play MC my gpu hits 70% and the CPU and ram cap at about 30 and 40 respectively.
  10. Skyrim, Fallout 76, Garry's Mod Idk about chunk size
  11. Using x64 Java, Dual channel ram, and all settings seem optimal
  12. Alright y'all I need some help. I recently decided to build an all AMD computer for gaming but now that the build is up and running with all the recent drivers installed, I find myself with low framerate in the games i least expected to encounter issues with. For example, I can run the Witcher 3 at max settings in 1080p at a consistent rate, but for some reason, lightly modded Minecraft with less powerful shaders brings my GPU to it's knees. I'm talking 30 mods MAX including optifine optimization. The same goes for other games. Some triple-A titles run at a fantastic framerate at 1080p with max settings, while other less demanding games bring my PC's performance to a grinding halt. Any recommendations? My specs are as follows: Ryzen 5 3600 RX 5600 XT 6gb 16 gb 3000mhz Ripjaws ram Gigabyte B450 DS3H 650w 80+ Bronze PSU HP 60hz 1080p display
  13. I apologize. This was not meant to post in Graphics Cards. Please forgive me o' Moderators.
  14. Hey guys, I'm planning on selling my rig pretty soon to pay for my cat's medical expenses, so I need to know what will be a reasonable price to list it at, while also getting as much money as possible. My specs include: i5 7400 16 gb DDR4 ram ZOTAC GTX 1060 6gb card 80+ Bronze 650w PSU Ugly and kinda worthless case (sleeper PC) Not Selling Hard Drives (Personal data I don't wish to lose) Thanks in advance for whatever suggestions you provide!
  15. Ok guys I have a very serious question I would like to ask. When paired with the i5 7400 would you choose a gtx 770 4gb superclocked edition card, or a gtx 1060 6gb card when gaming in 1080p playing modern AAA titles?
