  1. Ah really? Can you link me to their posts? This is the official one from the creator. It helps route the voltages and also develops the 5V and 3.3V. It also handles SATA straight from the PCB instead of the long SATA cable that comes with SF-series PSU. I think I know this guy.... Yeah. Might kill this product long term, but that is already happening in the industry. OEMs that have enough sales to justify custom boards have already created 12V only mobos like Dell. This is a nice stopgap product until then. Thanks for linking this as I haven't seen the official doc until now.
  2. Hello my friends, I am a boutique PSU/Case designer based in USA and I've created something really cool that I want to share with you guys. Photos first: What is it and how does it work? It's a "PICO PSU" that is it's a PCB that plugs directly into your 24pin header to reduces the number of wires you need. It runs off the 12V rail and interfacts directly with ATX PSU. You STILL use the same GPU and CPU power connectors, as that is the primary current carrying wires. It is something very useful for us tiny builders who really want to reduce the wires. Currently I only have one version for SF GOLD series and soon to be PLAT series. I hope this gain enough traction to where I can have other versions. Here is a video of it in action: I'm not sure how welcoming the forum is to sharing store links so I'll leave it out, but you can search for "J-HACK M2427" and it show up. I'm normally on the smallfactor.net forums as I'm an SFF enthusiast but I hope to share this with a greater audience.
