  1. Thanks for you tips so far! To be clear, there are a few reasons why it is better to have an audio-only download available instead of playing / downloading from Youtube: 1) Podcast apps automatically download new episodes and manage them for you. 2) Streaming from Youtube when commuting is unreliable and uses up precious data, whereas audio-only downloads can be done beforehand over WiFi. 3) Podcast apps save listener's progress so a show can be stopped and started at ease, even after days have passed. I'd be interested to know if it isn't LTT that publishes to Soundcloud and ITunes. That seems like the kind of thing they would want to lock down.
  2. Hi all, The WAN show is one of my favourite podcasts that I regularly listen to and I'm sure I share that sentiment with many thousands of other listeners. The hosts seem to genuinely enjoy discussing the latest tech topics with one another and the occasional frank perspective offered by people 'in the biz' can add enormously to a developing news story. It is pretty unfortunate then that the publication of the audio only version of the WAN show (i.e. on Soundcloud or ITunes) is often delayed until the middle of the following week. Yes, the Youtube version is available, but that can't be downloaded in advance and it can't be played in the background on a mobile device with the screen off. For these reasons it is essential to have a dedicated audio-only download and to have it be timely when its for a show based on the latest news stories. So my question is: Can we please get earlier releases of the WAN show on Soundcloud and ITunes (particularly the latter as it is sourced by many popular podcasting apps)? Thanks for your attention!
