Thanks. I applied thermal paste, installed an exhaust fan and ran a antivirus scan (Comodo antivirus). Found 29 threats and cleaned it. The temps fluctuates between 67C-70C. I changed the value to 4 but the service is still running and increases the temp to 84C after every minute. It's getting weird.

Found something. I just removed one side of the case and the the temp dropped to 75C. After that I started monitoring task manager, there is a 'Windows software protection platform service' which suddenly starts using up 15% of cpu. This service refreshes every minute. When the service is not using CPU the temp goes down to 57C. When the service is not running the CPU usage is also at 0%.

I have ordered h410r. Will that suffice? I have an Intel stock cooler right now. Getting 98C for CPU and 55c for GPU.

Thanks. I downloaded speccy and getting the 98 degrees for CPU and 55 degrees for GPU. Will only case fan do the job or is a CPU cooler necessary. I have already ordered h410r. Should I cancel it since I already have a case fan but haven't installed it.

Thanks. It gets hot on the mobo side. You are right so I got the h410r cooler since it was dirt cheap. Is there a major difference between 212 and h410r. Plus I got a Corsair af120 for exhaust. I hv uploaded the pics. There is a 120mm fan in the front which came with the case.

Thanks. I got the cooler and 1 Corsair af120 fan as well. Will I need an adapter for the fan? My mobo supports only 1 case fan. The fan needs a 3 pin connector. Which application is best for temps check?

I need help with a budget lga 1155 Mobo. Till now I was using a b75m d3h Mobo. I know a store where I can check if it's available. I have just bought a gtx 1070 which is quite long. It fits in but the case is not wide enough. There is no space for the connector to hold up.
