  1. Use PBOtunner2 set a -30 on the pbo, and get good temps and the same clocks.
  2. If you have a 5800x3d and an msi board with kombo strike. If not Pbo tunner is your best friend. The 6900xt really dosent need to be changed, specially at 1440p, if you had a 4k monitor maybe. Just lower some settings and the RT games just use FSR . I have a 6800xt and its great at 1440p. Been 2 year already with it.
  3. Heaven and superposition always have favored nvidia for some reason. Try 3dmark firestrike or timespy. Port will favor nvidia as they run RT faster and do have advantage there. In Raster the 7900xtx is a bit faster then the 4080 .
  4. Are you sure thats not the cable , can you swap it for another one.
  5. Just DDU the drivers in safe mode and dont let windows install the drivers. put the most recent ones and see if it happends .
  6. I dont know how much you have but the 5600x for that gpu is a good buy. better only the 5800x3d for ddr4 and am4 boards.
  7. If you have a 6800xt dont upgrade. There is no need to it. Even if you sell for 500 you wont get anything for 2x price and performance it will be 2x price and 15% more performance. Hold for this gen unless that one breaks
  8. I had a 8150 for a long time at 5ghz on water. 1.47v and put the multi up . Just be aware if your board is not a good one you need to add a fan to the vrm of the board. Those cpus hold voltage really good and they do OC nicelly its just that the IPC is trash.
  9. Look for Coil wine , If you have any game going at crazy fps you will have coil wine. Try to limit your fps to 60 and see if it goes away , if so then there you have your problem. Some gpus do them at 100 fps other at more. Also it can come from your PSU.
  10. Ok so bricked card with all bios bricked. There is an easy way to solve it. You will have to get te commands because I can t recall them But if you put the bricked card on slot 1 and good card on slot 0 you will boot from card 0 and then flash card 1. Thats how I did it in the past
  11. By steps, don't reuse PSU cables, check cables, CMOS bios activate xmp, go to windows turn on hwmonitor 64, run heaven check FPS and temps. If still bad ddu the drivers, disable win10 install drivers, download drivers from Nvidia. Also check your ram if they are seated properly.
  12. Gtx 1080 Vega 56 gtx 1070ti Vega 64 RX590 gtx1060 gtx 1080ti(even if you get it for 200 its a really good card) RX5700xt With all of these if you use FSR you will have a card for a good time.
  13. Check the fan of the PSU not fans in general. I told you to run cpuz stress and heaven for a reason. To stress the cpu and gpu at the same time. You need to see the PSU fan spining . If it is then you need a new one.
  14. Ok, check this. turn on your computer and put it running something heavy, like cpuz stress test and at the same time heaven . Go and check your PSU fan if its spining and how hot it is. If fan is not working then , there is your reason. OFC the PSU might be on its way to the bin also and you need a new one. Corsair RM750 gold are good psus are are not expensive.
  15. by steps, Get DDU, remove all trace od amd drivers and check the option for windows not to install drivers Get to windows and get new drivers from amd site Restart done
  16. This is an easy one, buy a 13900k and yes you get the faster cpu(discarding temps , power). Now do you want a platform that will last more years and you can upgrade down the line then get the 7950x, its a bit slower yes, in 3 or 4 years you will be capable of upgrading to a faster cpu. I dont have a cristal ball but I think it will be faster then the 7950 and probbaly on par with whatever intel will have. This way you wont spend money on a board that are expensive to upgrade to another cpu. This is just my view on it.
  17. Normally error 43 on nvidia is a dead card. You can try and reflash it with the same bios. Get the bios from techpowerup Its a good time to buy a gpu as you can get a 6600xt for cheap.
  18. Ok do this. Put the CPU in. Run cpuz stress for a bit until you see the temps really high not let it stay there for a bit like 5min. Ofc don't let it run to 100c . Now turn all off and remove the cooler by turning it not pulling. Good luck.
  19. I play star citizen, and for the noob ship pack its a really good game, I always recomend the aurora just because it has space inside and has a bed. Now the game is changing loads and its an alpha so it will have bugs. Atm the game is already big with just one star system, there is loads todo, now if you like to play solo and have fun it will take you some time to do all of the stuff. If you are in a group it will be fast to see all and you will put it to the side. Remember its an alpha so if they put a build that needs a reset you will lose all you only keep your inicial ship, this does nto happen often. Some say its a scam, I really dont think so you can see the work they are puting in. For exemple you are on a bed in a planet you have a window and you can look out, you can actually see the other player ships going away in real time, no loading no nothing, that ship will go to space and to other planets again no loadings , it can be full of players etc, you can get out of that bed and go to the hangars and get out that ship will be there if they have stoped. All of this seems simple its not. Now remember still an alpha and loads missing, it will be a long time to a realease date.
  20. https://valid.x86.fr/znwypm my 3900x just pbo . It does 4.7ghz on 6 cores and 4450 on the other 6. Full load its around 4.2 all core. I have bclk set to 101 to push the clocks out of spec. Any more and it will become unstable .
  21. By steps 1 - DDU 2 - Make sure your PSU is actually good and use 2 cables from it, test with another psu 3 - OS it can hapen 4 - CMOS and dont use XMP all stock 5 - RAM try with diferent conbinations of sticks.
  22. Hi, please be aware that the EDC 1 bug only works on 3000 series. If you pump the clock even 0.05 and you get crashes slow down the ram by 100mhz they can be really a pain when you mess with the clock. But you can get good results. Remember the 5800x3d can be OC by the clock and it gets good results. My 3900x its on a loop with a 360/60 with push pull and another 120mm with push pull so it gets good cooling.
