Hi all, Recently I've been having issues with my Dell XPS laptop where I am on the desktop with everything closed yet somehow the RAM usage is over 50%. Extremely strange as even when the task manager is open it doesn't show that anything is being used that could be taking 50% of the ram. There is 8gb installed which I imagine should be enough. Any ideas?

I tried out cinebench and this is what I got back. I also tried out Throttlestop which seemed to lower how much my CPU was being used in game but had no effect on fps.

Alright I will try to find something else. The reason I posted was because I know something is wrong with my laptop because I lag in games. I know its not really a "gaming" laptop but in Valorant I expect more than 80-100 fps when I have everything on the lowest setting.

Hi All, I have a dell xps 15 7590 which I just tested on user benchmark and it came back with the CPU, GPU, SSD, and RAM all performing way below expectations. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/61352231 All my drivers are up to date, BIOS is up to date, I've tweaked the thermal and battery settings, etc. Anyone have any idea what the issue could be?

Hi all, Recently I've been having a problem on my Dell XPS 15 7590, where I have extremely low frames in Valorant, which should be an easy game to run. Before I was averaging 150+fps but for some reason now I am getting around 30-60, making it almost unplayable. This is with all of the settings on low as well. I have reinstalled all drivers, forced NVIDIA to use the graphics card in the control panel, and done almost everything I can think of. I searched it up and other people have had the same problem, but none of the fixes that they did worked for me. Apparently some people have said it might be a problem because it's connected to a monitor, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Specs: GTX 1650, i7 9750H, 8GB RAM. Connected to a 240hz Asus monitor.

Hi all, I recently discovered a problem that I am running into with my dell laptop. On idle I'm getting between 50-60% RAM usage when it shows threes nothing running, and with google chrome open it will be upwards of 70% RAM usage. I have 8GB of RAM so there's no way it should be anywhere near these numbers. I've tried a few solutions on Youtube but none of them have fixed it. Any guesses?

Just did it. I have a 1TB SSD and it says it is at 100% health.

Hey All, My computer is on top of my desk which is also on top of an IKEA Alex Drawer set. Every time I close one of the drawers my computer freezes and then restarts. I have made sure everything is plugged in properly and there should be no reason why it just turns off when I close a drawer. Anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Hi All, I just picked up a used ASUS CG5275 and put in my GTX 1060 3GB. However on POST the monitor just goes into power save mode. I have put the hdmi cord into the motherboard, doesnt work, into the graphics card, doesn't work. I have tried booting windows 10 from my ssd, doesn't work, I have tried booting windows 7 from the hard drive it came with, doesn't work. Anyone know the solution?

I just went there and that isnt the default. However I think both my speakers and headphones are showing up as one thing.

Hi All, I just installed a ASUS GTX 1060 3GB DUAL into a prebuilt dell system that had a 960 in it. I installed all drivers and I can run anything. However, when I plug in the headphones to the front port of the computer they don't show up or work. The speakers I have that are plugged into the motherboard (green plugin) work. I unplugged the speakers and plugged the headphones into the motherboard (green plugin) and they work fine. However I can't use them like that since the cord isn't long enough and I want to just plug it into the front panel. Anyone know how to fix this? I have tried almost everything. EDIT: Now I can only hear out of the left ear on the headphones when I plug them into the front panel.

Could you give me an idea on where I could intern or what contacts would be "good"?

Hi All, I am almost 16 y/o and have built a total of 14 different computers for myself, family, neighbors, and friends. I know a ton of things about computers and how to build them since I'm a bit of nerd. My question is, where and how can I actually use this skill to possibly make money or something else? Thanks.
