  1. So i just got my 2080 super It only clocks up to 300mhz. Its not overheating or crashing. I tried ddu and installing new drivers. I tried to put a oc and 100 fan speed on it. I tried to stress it with furmark. The clocks didnt even flinch. The card is an evga 2080 super black gaming Specs: 8700k Strix z370-f 2x8 tridentz rgb 600w purepower 10 Any ideas what might be wrong or is my card broken?
  2. I got 40c while gaming in stock speeds so i belive its possible to get those temps with delidded 8700k. Now i get around 65-70c while playing cs and gaming
  3. I ran Aida64 for 2 hours and the prime95 for another 2. So i guess its stable
  4. What is considered a good 8700k overclock ? I got 5.2 ghz on 1.35v at around 90 degrees with celcius s36. I stressed my cpu with Aida64 Is that any good ? And how can i get better thermals without delidding ?
  5. My brother has a 1050ti and hes playing most games on medium-high on most games at 60fps. And i have a 1060 6gb and high-very high on most games. If you really are on a budjet i would recommend to save some money for the 1060 6gb.
  6. So i have decided to go with be quiet 600w pure power 10 is this a good decision ?
  7. I checked pcpartpicker https://gyazo.com/6d9ce8536383b184e12ae8be49e766a0 It shows my system uses 354 watts. And i was getting shutdowns even in stock speeds. Maybe my psu is just bad. And also its loud.
  8. You know my system doesnt use 250w. It uses about 450w. I currently have 450w and it is pushed to the limits. I also want it to be silent and not cheap out on it and i want it to go on to the future with my system as it grows.
  9. 1000W KL-1000M, modular, 80 Plus Bronze is going for 94,90 850w version of this is going for 10 euros less Thermaltake 850W Smart Pro RGB, Modular, 80 Plus Bronze is going for 97,00. Is it worth it to go lover wattage psu from a brand i know (thermaltake) to a cheaper brand a i have never heard of and higher wattage ? I have a 8700k and 1060. I also have an aio and some rgb stuff. I also dont have that much money. Im running a 450w psu. I had to underclock and volt my cpu for the system not to just shutdown. So any advice you can give me. Im listening
  10. Yes i removed it i even applied new thermal compound and i double checked that i removed the plastic. Im running stock vcore, strix z370-H gaming and newest bios. So basically this boiled down to two things. -Shitty thermal compund spread and reapplying it shitty the second time (because third time's the charm). -Not all the way tightened standoff. Thanks for the help
  11. I tried that it didnt improve at all with the temps.
  12. Yeah I have tried but it dropped around 1-2 degrees so i dont think that was a reason for the bad temps. I havent even overclocked it yet. I have read couple of articles and it shows stock clocks full load was about 57 degrees
  13. So basically i got my new pc and my cpu temps are insanely high. These are my idle temps after about 10 of idling https://gyazo.com/f4eca3ef90a1a147b027d3a5800e9421 These are my load temp on aida64 after 25 minutes. Im not comfortable with these temps and my room feels like a sauna. https://gyazo.com/ab1b13b3af1693c01eac2eeb58f886b3 Im using a fractal design celsius s36. It sounds like a jet engine taking off and i cant get the fans to go any faster. Is there anyway to get better temps than this without deliding. So what can be the problem. I have a super aggressive fan and pump curve.
  14. I have used Pillows and blankets and straped in a seat belt. Make sure its straped securily that its not going to vibrate and rip off your cpu cooler.
  15. So i have decided to go with i7 8700k. Wich is better G.Skill 16GB (2 x 8GB) Trident Z RGB, DDR4 2400MHz, CL15, 1.20V for 208,90 euros or G.Skill 16GB (2 x 8GB) Trident Z RGB, DDR4 3000MHz, CL15, 1.35V for 215 Is the performace jump worth it? Im on a very tight budjet. Should i save a buck on memory and get a better case ?
