  1. If I used this, would the fans be addressable from MSI's Mystic Light?
  2. I am planning to buy 6 cooler master MF120 prismatic fans for my pc but I don't have any argb headers in my motherboard so I plan on buying an rgb controller for it. Would I be able to address the individual LEDs of the MF120 prismatic fan with a razer chroma rgb controller?

    new fans

I am planning on buying 6 120mm fans for my system. I'm looking for something with 50+ cfm, addressable RGB, and, if possible, around 25dB of noise level. Is there a fan that can fit these categories at the $200- $250 price point?
  4. would going slightly overbudget and buying a Ryzen 7 5800X be a good idea?
  5. I currently have a MSI B450 Tomahawk Max updated to the latest bios.
  6. I am currently running a system with a Ryzen 5 3500G, a 5500XT graphics card and 16 gb of ram. I was planning to upgraded my cpu since it might be limiting my pc when it comes to games like apex legends and things like rendering videos in blender. I currently have a budget of $400 for the upgrade. With the budget that I have, what cpu would be the best option?
  7. according to the video it does seem to still allow me to use argb. thank you for the suggestion. However, I would like to ask if something like this would also work. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/iCUE-CONTROLLERS/iCUE-Commander-PRO-Smart-RGB-Lighting-and-Fan-Speed-Controller/p/CL-9011110-WW#tab-overview
  8. would I be able to use the strip in argb mode even if I connect the controller to a 12v rgb port?
  9. I am currently planning on connecting an argb strip to my pc but upon checking, my motherboard didn't have the 5V 3 pin port that I need. Can I use an RGB controller for this despite my motherboard not having a port for argb? I would also like to ask for suggestions for rgb controllers if I could use them. For reference, my motherboard is a MSI B450 Tomahawk Max.
  10. I am planning on modding an Aerocool Cylon case since while I like the case, it doesn't have much in the way of airflow in the front panel and the RGB is also not addressable. For the front panel, I plan on cutting a few holes then place air filters in order to increase the airflow while still preventing dust from coming in. As of now I have 2 layouts for it. I was wondering which one I should go for. The first does allow for more airflow but it does remove quite a lot of material. I am planning of reinforcing the panel in this case. It will also hit the PCB of the RGB of the front panel but I plan on removing it anyway to make the RGB addressable.
  11. By default, the 3 pins in the strip was connected to this PCB This PCB was also connected to the button that controlled the different modes that the light could be set to. From the PCB, there were 2 pins that connected to a SATA connector. Can I skip the PCB and just connect the strip directly to the motherboard via a 3 pin to VDG adapter?

On the topic of RGB, while removing the RGB that came with the case, I found that the strip itself had 3 pins. I was wondering if its possible (and safe) to reuse the strip and just buy a 3 pin to VDG adapter or maybe other things could be done so I can keep it since other strips that I an finding in are either too long or too short for the case (the strip is 45 cm). If it is possible to just use a 3 pin to VDG adapter, will I be able control it with programs like aura sync?
  13. I'm in Philippines and the RX 580 is priced around 190 USD and the 5500XT is around 229USD
