  1. The 1060 is the only card I can squeeze in my budget because it's waaayyy cheaper than even the 1070 (living in the Philippines btw) I'm not after maxed out graphic settings (perfectly fine with console level graphics) or 4k or VR anyway so I think the GTX 1060 is pretty fine for me.
  2. Thank you so much guys for all your suggestions. After many hours of thinking I finally made the decision to buy the 2200G instead because if ever I can't fit the GTX 1060 on my budget, I can still--at least--game with the Vega 8. I'll just hope the mobo that I'm planning to buy will not need a bios update. Cheers to all and thank you once again.
  3. I commented on the video about how every gaming platform has advantages and disadvantages. He then replies "the pc simply has no disadvantages." He then proceeds to rant about how pc blablabla (you know where it leads). And then when I sent him a link to a certain topic in this forum, he replied "Just tell me about the disadvantages already, I can't wait to have a good laugh." Is he a 10-year old spoiled rich kid? What do you think? BTW I know how the PC is superior to the consoles in terms of everything but it simply does not mean it has no disadvantages. I'm also kinda tired of the whole PC vs Console arguement...
  4. Yeah it's okay, at least you tried. I reallly just want to play a game on at least 60FPS above(if not 60, well so long as it is playble) . Don't really care about maxed out graphical settings (especially on Crysis. The game is still cool even on everything set to low)
  5. Well to be honest I really prefer the 2200G for my build because if budget doesn't allow a GPU, well, I'll be at least fine with the Vega 8. I'll think about it.
  6. Yeah 4 cores/4 threads is really tempting, but when you are in the Philippines, you don't get everything cheap.
  7. I like the 2200G but I'm avoiding it for the moment since BIOS updates on mobos. There is an AMD boot kit blabla , but nah.
  8. I was going to consider the 1050ti too but I'm not going to upgrade till sooner so yeah. But if there is no other choice, well, 1050ti ftw. (I have actually seen a 1050 (not 1050ti) in action personally on my friend's rig (playing PUBG) and it was not bad. But not good too. But at least it was playble on low settings 1080p)
  9. Umm hii everyone. So as the title suggests, my future build (i think later this year, depends on the budget) will have a GTX 1060 3GB paired with a Pentium G5400. I know the CPU is not that strong but, you know, budget. So will it be a decent pair or will it lead to bottleneck? (I'm only doing 1080p gaming btw and no VR and also I don't really care if I can't max out the graphics settings.)
