  1. I've been using a TV as a monitor for ages and want to upgrade. I've used 1080p forever and am pretty happy with it, and as far as I can tell 1440p seems like a bit of a pain in terms of compatibility with games, as well as watching movies. Hoping to find a 1080p monitor, 144hz, preferably it to be 32 inch or around. Thanks in advance for any responses, I am awful at finding shit like this.
  2. Solved. I had to buy a HDMI-VGA adapter, where the HDMI port on my gpu turns into a VGA cable which the TV likes more.
  3. Looks to me like my TV menu is too shitty to have any such option. This is awful. Its menu is so minimal.
  4. the monitor itself is 1080p, and when I set it to that it overscans. When rezising it using the Nvidia control panel, windows it says the resolution has been changed to 1804x1014. I can then use windows to set is at 1080p which doesn't revert to the overscan but still remains blurry. I'm completely at a loss here.
  5. I've just bought a new PC, and my old pc was connected to the TV I am using as a monitor with a VGA cable and a VGA-to-DVI-I Adapter. my new PC uses DVI-D, and in the absence of being able to find a VGA to DVI-D adapter, I used a HDMI cord, which has resulted in horrible overscan. I've used the Nvidia control panel to manually rezise the display, but it has resulted in blurriness. I even tried to change the aspect ratio on my TV, but it only has 3 settings and none of them help in the slightest. PC is Soniq brand. Am I going to have to figure out how to get a VGA to DVI-D connector? Buy a new monitor? Are there any solutions I've overlooked? Thanks enormously for any help anyone can provide.
