  1. First - clone whole drive including bootable partition. And use bootable usb with Macrium Reflect (you can find option to made that usb in Macrium menu) so you will clone system that is not in use. But... Even then you may have problem if it's old laptop. I had once laptop that just can't recognize ssd. Don't know it was bios limitation or some kind of producer's limit or just rare sata incompatibility, but it happened. So if it's really old laptop, search for that problem on internet.
  2. DDU drivers in this case, but... It may be problem with new drivers too, or with your GPU (it's also possible). Try to install previous GPU drivers.
  3. Sorry, but uninstalling AiSuite can't make your drive unbootable. Try to switch to uefi or legacy and boot. It's for sure something related to your bios settings.
  4. And now we're waiting for second question: "so, can I connect two drives then?" :)
  5. I explained it in second part of my post (edited a little later). First part is still valid for rest of your routers (if you have more).
  6. If you disable dhcp in router and assign static ip on it from your main router, and then plug it into network using lan1 port (not wan), you'll get managable switch (with separate wireless if your router have wifi) using ports 2 to 4. And all your devices stay with the same network. If you want to control net using your own router, your main router must be working as bridge (if it has that option). But then you can't use it's wifi and you can only use one lan port to connect your second router to it.
  7. There are tools for that, something like game booster etc, but I never use any of them. But they works like you described.
  8. I saw that problem once. Check if your 24pin is really plug to the end. Unplug and plug this again and check if there is no space anywhere in connection.
  9. Buy any gpu you want and try first before you start thinking about changing cpu. On this forum every cpu that is older than 6 months gets comments about bottlenecking. Your CPU will be fine, don't worry.
  10. Check twice everything - cables, ram etc. You're not the only one with that problem.
  11. Voltage - every CPU has its voltage range it operates. Many motherboard producers, for compatibility reason, use high range of that voltage for stability reasons. But it causes higher temperatures. Most of users don't even bother beacuse these CPUs are fine to work with temps like 70-80 degrees and I bet lot of users do not check their temperatures, never clean anything and uses stock cooler - and they're fine. For some time at least. But you may change that voltage in OC section. Isn't this why you bought Z chipset motherboard in the first place? To have more options? So use them. Check what voltage your BIOS reports and change it to lower value. For example - try 1.2 V and check if your system is stable (and if temps are lower). You should read about OC, not only for overclocking but also for voltage settings. 6600K OC and voltage - and you can find dozens of results.
  12. Also - if you don't understand some advices (like "voltages" etc.) - just ask, do not skip that part.
  13. Is there? I wrote that I'm not sure, but for you it's few steps to try if you set that option in BIOS. Then you can answer this question and share with us.
  14. I wrote a little more than that. I see no other options like I described. Voltage, mounting, thermal paste, fan curve. Or just not the best cpu. Or overreacting.
  15. You'll get output when you enable iGPU option in BIOS, but... ...that doesn't mean your computer will utilize integrated GPU. It will display using internal GPU, but graphics processing power will be get from your main GPU anyway. I don't use it that way long time, so I'm not sure if there is an option to really use intel integrated gpu only for some tasks.
  16. 1. Watercooler is not always better than air cooler. Is hard to say what voltage your motherboard give to the CPU, so it may be the reason. Or not. Or you just mounted cooler bad. Why that pipes are so close to ram slots? 2. Your ram is seated not the best way. Pairs of ram should be placed in A1/B1 and A2/B2, not A1/A2, B1/B2 slots. If all rams are the same speed, latency etc. and works in dual proper, then ok, but in case any differences - you may want to pair them proper. But don't worry - if they works that way and speed is ok, and no freezes - then you may leave it as is. 3. Fan curve maybe? Try to set it more aggresively in BIOS.
  17. Try to install Windows on another computer, then plug drive with installed system to your computer. It's really not so easy to understand your problem and my hint about checking hardware was ignored, so try this method so we'll see what is wrong.
  18. I give you hint about dedicated soundcard software. You said that you have no Gigabyte software installed but you don't figure out that it may be similar type of software by other brand? :)
  19. Buy in X-Kom, they update bios for free (on request). Read compatibility cpu list first to be sure selected motherboard supports new cpu and have bios update.
  20. Magic. One advice - made your image when system is not in use. You can prepare rescue usb (it's Macrium Reflect option) and boot from usb, then create image of that system. Or use second computer. And uninstall Macrium Reflect before you made image - you don't need it installed on every computer you restore image.
  21. Sure, why not, I can understand that. But for me IT guy who says that the best solution is to clean install Windows is like a plumber who says that the best solution for fixing leaking pipes is to build new house. And sure - you can install Windows every time you think problem is too complex to even try to fix it, but I prefer specialist who can fix my problems more than person who knows easy workarounds. No matter how much money you want for your work, it's not worth it if all you do is clean install system - this is something that everyone can do for free without paying.
  22. Your 30 minutes sometimes means someone else 3 days to restore everything, or even more. You don't know how many programs, settings etc it was made by user, how many time he needs to backup files, keys etc. You only say that installing blank Windows takes 30 minutes. Sure, but Windows without software is nothing. It's like you being car mechanic and someone wants to repair his highly tune up and modified car. Then owner back after few days and you tell him that you disassembled everything and made it fresh with producer's specifications. Ok, sometimes people just use one or two programs and that is easy to restore, but in many cases "clean install" means the same as "destroy everything". Some viruses formats drives too and nobody call them good and clean.
  23. Just made image of your current system using Macrium Reflect, upgrade Windows, test it by yourself and, if you find any problems, restore image.
  24. You can always find some differences, sometimes annoying, sometimes good. It all depends on how many programs do you use. Differences may be very small, but if you're talking about hardware or software compatibility, you're safe to upgrade.
