If folder is generated by some program automatically, you must find info on program support forum (or official support). I don't think Windows can delete file by itself. It happens only when you upgrade to 1809 and only to users subdirectories like "Documents", "My Music" etc. After upgrade there was no reporting that any other files was missing. So it's not Windows. It may be faulty drive or bug in software you're using.

I don't asked how fast Windows boot. I'm asked how fast your headphones needs to be detected after you plug them after boot. Since you reinstalled system and now have problem with drivers, solve that first. And check what I was talking about. It may be that your headphones software and drivers needs long time to initialize anyway.
-
That is really strange. I swapped lot of time win7 between computers and never have that problems with drivers. Most of them was usually detected itself and few more (like USB) I must install manually. But all of them? Sorry, it's unusual. Chipset driver should solve most of problems. I'm talking about safe mode because you have some problem with normal boot.

Maybe, but maybe in safe mode with networking it will work. And you can use phone activation too.

I think problem is with activation anyway. Is hard to suggest any real solution. You may try to boot this system in safe mode and try to solve problems then. Try to reactivate your Win7 - who knows, maybe it allows you.

Check how long it takes when you plug headphones after system boot. Maybe it will be the same long, but after boot.

Best cpu for an RTX 2080 TI? Plan to run Minecr…
homeap5 replied to NvidiaRTX's status update on homeap5's profile
R5 3600 is enough. Or i7 8700k. Or 9900k. Or in fact any powerful CPU. Depends on money. -
Your GPU may be a problem too. I had once card that has problem with memory and bsod on every computer - on YouTube, games etc. No matter Windows or Linux.
-
But PCI-e lan card, disable integrated in bios. Cost - about 10$.

Upgraded to a 3600, now PC shuts off randomly?

Some overcurrent protection. Or overheat. Check all radiators, cables etc. Monitor your temperatures. -
For removing unused devices use Ghostbuster tool. It's pretty easy. Also - you should wait a little longer because your Windows installs drivers after first boot. It's not always focused so you need to look at tray. Check device manager, install missing drivers, don't worry so much about old ones and your system will be good very soon. After some time and few restarts at least. All that informations are because you changed hardware and you have now unactivated Windows. Remember that you have access to that drive using your win10, so you can write drivers on this hdd from win10. Just create some folder and grand access to everyone. Btw. what happens when you log off and try to log on to your normal account?

Come on, your CPU has no half, not just one, but TWO cores! And you have no 256 MB, no 512 MB, no 1024 MB, but whole 2 GB of RAM! Look that way. You can test how fast your computer is by comparsion - let one person write (using pen and paper) as much words as possible in one minute. Then you copy huge txt file and compare how many words your computer can process per minute. I bet that over million times more.
-
Everything will be good in your case, but I recommend Samsung EVO 860, Crucial MX500 or AData (if you want cheaper).

You don't must back in time that much. Motorola 68030 which was used in turbo expansion card for Amiga, also doesn't need any fan or even radiator. Airflow plays a role in cooling - I agree. But air doesn't need to be pushed by 4 fans and pulled out by 5 fans. It's not liquid, it's gas. Most of air exchange occurs by itself. A little "help" may be useful, but too much gives just bigger noise. If CPU, GPU and drives temperatures are ok, you don't need to punish yourself by increasing computer noise.
-
I believe, why not. So adjusting win7 will be much easier for you. If you have problem with finding Paragon - let me know (pm). I can give you link.

How do you know that your case has bad airflow? When you open it you feel like 70 C air blow on your face? People are talking so much now about airflow. Years ago computers was sold with one fan and nobody complain. You can buy these computers for few dollars on eBay and they're still working. Probably because convection is not just a theory.

So use imaging software like Macrium Reflect and made image of your system before upgrade. In worst case you'll be able to restore image. But you should be fine anyway. If your hardware is ok.

Cpu doesn't fit in the socket!
homeap5 replied to gamelovers11223's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Nice and funny. Where you get that CPU? -
Connect this drive to another computer or use bootable usb with Ubuntu and check if you can even read that drive. Maybe your drive is dead.

I hope you read also about ps2 mouse/keyboard.

Is something wrong with your current installation?
-
Legacy boot is bios settings. Opposite to UEFI boot. Drive in legacy mode means MBR formatted, not GPT. What is GParted? Well, type "GParted" in Google. Now your drive using GPT partitioning and probably your win7 is legacy installation, so until you don't change bios settings, you'll not be able to boot that win7 installation. And until you change drive format, you'll not be able to install win7 on that drive. Less questions, more actions. If you don't understand something, it become clear when you start using GParted.
-
Setup BIOS to boot from legacy drives. Prepare GParted on USB. Boot and delete all partitions. Change drive from GPT to MBR. Then insert your pendrive and boot.

Useless. His drive boots (OP fix this already). Problem is with bluescreen. I give him proper solution.
